Actually, I am a Registered Nurse. Characteristics: dependable, honest, independent, optimistic, hard-working, encouraging, a problem solver, a good listener and communicator. I became interested in health care when I was 10 years old and in the hospital over Christmas having had an emergency appendectomy. My mom worked for a doctor (earning $1 an hour) and was always telling us about interesting cases and teaching us strange sounding medical terminology. Most of my nursing career was in a Medical Intensive Care Unit at Ohio State University Medical Center. After that exciting career, I started working in Home Health in 2008. I enjoy working 1 on 1 with my clients, offering encouragement, seeing that they are receiving proper care, and hearing their life stories.

I became a caregiver 10 years ago when my mom became my reason to go into this field. She had dementia, parkinson's disease and cancer. I worked outside the home as a caregiver learning more about how to have exceptional skills to not only be her caregiver but to provide the same love of the work with others needing care. I also have a adult son with autism and grabdchildren with special needs. All this has taught me love, patience and understanding of caring for others.

I have been state tested since graduating high school. I am a mother of 4 and a wife of 13 yrs. I love working with patients and their family. I am very well at leaving my personal life at the door and being able to enjoy my day at work. Caring for people is all I know how to do. I just have to be able to be a parent as well with schools being done at home so can't do the long shifts of working in a nursing home. I take as many extra learning as can to help enhance my certification . I'm very easy to get along with and as flexible as needed. I have worked in home health, hospitals, as well as Nursing homes. My patients happiness means a lot to me or how the family thinks of me so always try to do my best. I have always liked helping people which is why I chose this field right out of high school. I have always kept my certification in good standing I've had my certification since 2001 and still on state registry with no complaints ever on my care. Hopefully I will get a chance to work with your family and treat your loved one as one of my own.

I'm a compassionate caring and empathetic caregiver, choosing a career as a caregiver was the obvious choice for me because of the love I have for people in general especially those who are undergoing stressful times because of physical or emotional problems, seeing my clients happy because of the exceptional care I provide for them makes me happy as well

A little about me! I am a single mom to 2 kids , 5 y.o and 2 y.o. I have been in healthcare for 6 years , I have my STNA license along with my EMT-B certification. I have worked in a long term care facility, also in the hospital environment learning about each speciality . I have taken care of my late grandparents which was 24 hour care , so I personally know how stressful it is to take care of a family member by yourself . I treat each of my patients as if they were my family and give them the best care I can .
