I have been a caregiver in LTC facilities for over 10 years and I have come to the conclusion that if you can keep your loved ones at home, then we should come to them. So I decided to leave that and start working for people from home so they can stay home. I've taken care of younger people, not kids, and of course all the way up to end of life. The experience I have could be great, I just don't want people to have to resort to putting loved ones somewhere where they have care. Let's make that be home more often! I love taking care of others and helping them achieve their goals. This is why I became a caregiver in high school and I have never stopped. I will never lose sight of the bigger picture of making geriatric patients have the best quality of life until they pass on, or just being there for you if you need the smallest of help. **the small things make the world go round"

I am a great caregiver because I started developing the interest while taking care of my father who became sick for a long time and it was me an my mother who where taking care of him. After he passed away I decided to take up this profession so that I can help other people who need help like my father and make a difference in peoples lives that is what I love most with this job. I do my work diligently and my clients end up treating me like family members and a friend. I enjoy listening to my clients testimonies of how much I have effected their lives in a positive way and to me that is a great achievement. I am a mother of 4 children, married for 16 years, am a Christian believing in the second coming of the lord Jesus Christ. I love helping! My grandmother had a huge influence on my life. I have done everything from a to z in eldercare situations. I love it. I don't have grandparents anymore, so my clients are special people in my life. I'm basically quiet but always positive and smiling. I have my CNA, I worked on the Cardiac monitors, so I feel comfortable with situations where some don't. I also took my LPN but didn't test, bc my father was dying from cancer.. I took care of him and realized I liked taking care of people and serving on an up close and personal level.

Hello. I am Megan Greer. I have loved being able to help others in any way I can. I just recently returned to the United States from a mission trip to Thailand. I was apart of the medical team, took vitals, and spent time with the kids in their village. Also, I have kept up some skills in ASL and was awarded American Sign Language Senior of the Year during my last year of high school. Currently I am taking classes at Tulsa Community College and am working towards being apart of their Nursing Program. I am so excited to continue my education and to use my CNA skills to provide compassionate care for others.

My passion for caregiving was exposed when my mother was hit by car in 2010. I enjoy the gift of being able to help someone enjoy ADLs Very soon I will be opening a van service. I'd love to nothing but a help to the sick,disabled,elderly ect.

I have 5 children of my own and 4 of them are over 21 and out of my home. I still have a 9 year old at home. I have always felt confident taking care of the needs of others. Privacy and confidentiality are very important and understanding that the patient is in charge of their care enabling them to do as much as they can to keep their individual independence with the aid of someone that can truly care for them. I have kept my past jobs for long periods of time and have found this to be my next chapter in building my life goals.
