I always loved to help others and with the lost of my father I realized how hard the last few years with him was and how little help I had with the other pressures in life it took a toll so I quit my job to stay home with my dad and I seen the difference that hands on and love made with him and I knew then this was what I was meant to do in life share my love and compassion with others

HI there. I seem to always remind people of someone else. I smile a LOT. And love conversation BUT... that does not mean I talk a LOT either. Some of my clients are more on the quiet side and I "go" with that. People are interesting. EVERYONE has a story to tell and of course, everyone's story is unique. Sometimes my client and I will go into the kitchen and cook or bake and some clients HATE to be in the kitchen. Do you love to take walks? How about drive around and "see the sights"? Ahhh... how about this--- a great game of Dominos? OK.. you don't like those? No problem. I love crafts... how about taking great pictures? Are you a camera buff? Can you sing? Play a musical instrument? I was a piano and french horn major in college. Well.. maybe you are more of a reader. OH YES! I love to read! One of my favorite hobbies -- love to read especially Reader's Digest or.. how about this one, "This Ole House".. or a gardening book? You love animals? So do I. Maybe you need a haircut. I have cut my client's hair because they can't get out. Just in case you are wondering....... no.... never have done that for a living-was never trained in that profession but just watching others do it and I love to learn new things. Right now, reading a how-to book... on plumbing. So.. is there anything your are interested in learning? Never too old to learn new things.

Being passionate about my care is my expertise, I enjoy what I do and im good at what I do. A little about myself, I have been a caregiver for 10+ years and feel it has been my calling. About 2 years ago I started 24/7 care. I am reliable and have letter of recommendations as well. I do bathing, toileting, dressing, meals, grocery shopping, errands, transferring, companionship and house keeping.

I'm a professional with an easy personality, I have traveled to various parts of the world while serving my Country, so I've lived with diversity on a very large scale. I enjoy the Care field as it gives me satisfaction while working with others to bring change to those in distress.

I started doing private care about 8 years ago 4 years into it I realized I liked doing it . So I went and got certified to broaden my work area . Last year I was nominated for CNA of the year at the last facility I worked . Then I went to mission hospice . People asked me when they find out I worked for a hospice company they ask ain't that a difficult job . I responded with "no it is a blessing and I learn so much from the people I take care of ."

I was a call monitor I went behind the aids an checked if they did a bed check an reported back to the head nurse...when growing up I had a cousin with MS an he came to our house every summer an I helped him

Hello, my name is Hannah, I'm 21 years old, i've been a Certified Nurses Assistant for a little over three years now. Being a caregiver is a lifestyle, having said that I believe I was born to be a caregiver. I started this caregiving journey at a young age with my uncle. My Uncle had two brain aneurysm that resulted in him being a quadriplegic with the use of his right arm. I felt a great sense of pride helping my grandmother take care of him. I absolutely love being a cna! Nothing makes me feel more pride and more accomplished then being able to help someone with daily activities that you and I can easily do ourselves. I believe that all, no matter sex, race, or religion everyone deserves life and a loving caregiver that changes their life.

I make people feel as independent as they possibly can be. I love to take care of people God bless me with the need and want to help people it fulfills my soul and my heart.

I am a CNA and CHHA with 18 years experience. I became a health care aide because I wanted to make a difference in people's lives. I started off as a CNA only but I wanted to do something that was more personable to an individual so I acquired my CHHA. And in doing so I was able to start my career off working for a hospice. By my starting that way, it gave me compassion on a whole different level. I worked as a shower aide for home health as well as hospice,going out to individuals homes for about 12 years. I later decided to experience different things, giving me a much more vast range of experience. I have work in Long-Term Care, skilled unit, Home health, hospice, rehabilitation, respite care, comfort Care, private duty, memory Care, elderly group home, and companion care. I have enjoyed every range of care that I have experienced being a part of. I enjoy helping others and just being able to give my client something to look forward to. Also, I realize that everyone is an individual so I try to treat a client based on their personality, including things that know that they enjoy. I use those things to help me when engaging with the client, as well as adding to the quality of care and quality of a client's life in general!
