Hello, my name is Winter I would like to take the time to introduce myself. I am a certified CNA with the state of Arkansas and I have been a certified nurse's aid for most of my adult life I have worked in a nursing home setting as well as some Home Health and private care with with patients that have a wide variety of needs and my involvement with daily living from total dependency to just being there for respite care. I look forward to being able to help and lend to a helping hand anyway I can that would help those work with feel like smiling and helping them find things to smile about even if it's something small. I care about helping elderly people and children that have a disability. When you love taking care of people and it's a blessing to want to do it, because some elderly people don't have family and you willing to step in and help.. God will bless you. You have to treat people the way you want to be treat.. One day we going to get old and we need the help. The Administrator approached me and asked if I would like to do activities because he seen how I interact with the patients. That touched me. That's when it started and I realized this was for me.

I have been passionate about healthcare since I started as a Patient Care Assistant in 11th grade, way back in 1997. I worked in a busy post-surgical ward in a hospital setting for 17 years and have since found home healthcare incredibly rewarding. I have ample experience in assisting with post-orthopedic surgical patients, ambulation, dressing, bathing, toileting, catheter care, ostomy care, checking blood glucose levels, and vital signs. I spent over a year assisting a hemiplegic stroke patient I thoroughly enjoy helping others live how they wish to live. My goal is to help anyone in need get back to the best quality of life possible.
