The passion that I have for helping those in need is what drives me to further my education to go farther in my career. It's always been something I knew I wanted to do since a child coming from a line of nurses in my family. I have learned lots of skills along the way to ensure clients/patients receive the best possible care. I believe in treating those as if it were my own family member. Dignity and respect will always be top priorities because although we may face hardships that may impact us physically or mentally we're still people at the end of the day who deserve fair treatment. I am a 48 yr old widow, mother of 3, proud nana of 6. I have always enjoyed helping others in living their best life. I begin caretaking many years ago, forever it seems. I know that being in healthcare means consistency and compassion both of which I readily provide. I was a certified nursing assistant before transitioning to a medical assistant. I also have completed a medical nail tech program online that I gained a lot knowledged in medical conditions and how it affects our feet and how to take care a patient w/feet issues as well.

I have experience taking care of couples as well as individuals, men, and women. I love dogs and have one at home. I do not take clients who smoke. I like the day or night shift, and I am available for work overnights for 8-12 hour shifts either in a home or in a facility. Also available days but I do not burn the candle at both ends. The age of my clientele has ranged from 3 to 104. Wherever you are I can go to get to you. If you are in a facility and you want me there I can be there. I am a huge advocate for my clients and I have a zero tolerance policy for maltreatment or neglect. I also will not allow anyone to exploit or abuse a client without reporting it to the proper authorities. I have advanced training in Alzheimer's and dimentia as well as Occupational Therapy degree holder as of December 2019 I am currently taking on new clients.

My name is Tiara I'm 25 years old, when I was 18 my grandmother fell ill and there was nobody that we felt could give her the around the clock skilled care she needed without going into a facility (which nobody would have allowed to happen) so I began caring for her myself, following under the direction hospice had given. I began turning her as needed aiding in her mobility so she wouldn't lose the use of her legs, hand over hand feeding her. Anything she needed I was there and I realized I didn't just like to help but instead it gave me a good feeling to know I was doing more then just assisting I was a companion. She was no longer"down in the dumps" it's a wonderful feeling. I'm a very honest easy going person, I've got a habit of always seeing the brighter side. I enjoy reading and cooking in my free time.
