The passion that I have for helping those in need is what drives me to further my education to go farther in my career. It's always been something I knew I wanted to do since a child coming from a line of nurses in my family. I have learned lots of skills along the way to ensure clients/patients receive the best possible care. I believe in treating those as if it were my own family member. Hi, My name is Margie. I am a middle age adult and grandmother of two beautiful girls. Just a little more about myself, I started caregiving when I was about 7 years old with my grandmother who was a nurturer within our community. We would attend to the elderly or the sick when needed, and my duties were to assist with ADL's, cleaning (as much as I could have done) or just getting them something to drink with their medication, inwhich were always appreciated by them. I knew then that helping someone in need would become a career. I became a Nursing Assistant in 1988 and Certified in 2004. I have mainly worked with homehealth and hospices agencies, however, these roles has taken me into skilled nursing homes as well as retirement homes. I am also experienced with working with Mental health patients and the Disability & Special Needs. I have experience with working with Alcohol & Abuse clients and I have worked with veterans. I am thoroughly comfortable with a variety of different clientele such as dementia and alzheimers clients and offers them the very best services possible. I am a 48 yr old widow, mother of 3, proud nana of 6. I have always enjoyed helping others in living their best life. I begin caretaking many years ago, forever it seems. I know that being in healthcare means consistency and compassion both of which I readily provide. I wnjoy the fact I am able to provide not only companionship and care but in the later stages of life help my clients maintain their dignity. My love for helping those who need it most resulted in me decoding to go back to school at 45 to obtain a degree. Even thru the hardest of times it has been my greatest joy.

Hello my name Raven, I have been a caregiver for over 25 yrs. I started out at the age of 14, sitting with my step-grandmother who suffered with Dementia and Alzheimers. That started my love for this kind of work. Ive always enjoyed sitting and talking with the elderly population, you can learn so much from them. Listen to their love stories, war stories, how life was different for them growing up. I've worked in nursing homes, hospitals, and have done some private duties. So my experience covers a broad area.

I have been a certified nursing Assistant. For 17 years, And enjoy what i do, helping people,I possess, to perform my care giving duties successfully my personality traits are patience, compassion,Attentiveness,Dependability,trustworthiness and Always have there best interest and care first and foremost.I have worked in the Hospital, Nursing Home,Assissted living Facilities as well as private Duty. Worked with Austictic children and Adults. Dementia, and with Various other Areas of Health etc.

I have experience taking care of couples as well as individuals, men, and women. I love dogs and have one at home. I do not take clients who smoke. I like the day or night shift, and I am available for work overnights for 8-12 hour shifts either in a home or in a facility. Also available days but I do not burn the candle at both ends. The age of my clientele has ranged from 3 to 104. Wherever you are I can go to get to you. If you are in a facility and you want me there I can be there. I am a huge advocate for my clients and I have a zero tolerance policy for maltreatment or neglect. I also will not allow anyone to exploit or abuse a client without reporting it to the proper authorities. I have advanced training in Alzheimer's and dimentia as well as Occupational Therapy degree holder as of December 2019 I am currently taking on new clients.

I became a caregiver at an early age because I love the bond that I build with others.I love brightening up their day and giving them hope when everyone else has given up!! I always believe I could make a difference just by showing love and compassion.
