Hello, I'm Jessica. I'm a caregiver (TNA from ACAHNCAL) currently working on my CNA Certification. I answered the call and became a professional caregiver during the quarantine. I had been a family caregiver to two members previously and all together, I have 10 years experience. Ive been told I have a servants heart and find I am happiest when making others satisfied. One of the things I enjoy the most about caregiving is hearing stories firsthand. Listening is one of my strong suits because I'm always interested in what some else knows or has done. Having spent decades of my life caring for my elderly patients and I love every minute of it, Such an honor for me ! Being a trusted caregiver for many years with patients from all walks of life in various stages in life; sometimes with physical/mental decline I offer care that you can trust. I have great compassion for others in some of the most vulnerable times of their lives when sometimes other family members cannot due to their own family and lives. I give those families comfort in knowing that I will do a good job taking care of their most precious loved ones. It was in nursing school that I knew being a caregiver to the elderly was my passion. I love that I can make individuals feel loved even though I'm not actual family but in time I do feel like family as they have become like family to me. I know that when I give attention to my patients that they are receiving the BEST care that I can humanly give them, I know without a doubt that I'm doing what is most comforting and safe for them. I am Reliable, Dependable, Honest, Work with Integrity, Compassionate, Always willing to work with schedule changes, and my word is my promise. It make me feel good to know that I can take a load off of family members while relieving stress and pressure because we know that caring for a family member is exhausting, I've been there and know. I take no shortcuts in the care of my patients always treating others as I would like to be treated and for me that's as if they were my family.

I am a wife, mother of 2 amazing boys, and a nurse. I now stay home with my youngest son because my oldest son is away at college and my husband works crazy hours. I absolutely love taking care of people. It is my passion and what God put me on this earth for. I don't want to work all the crazy RN hours right now, I want to be able to be with my son as much as I can! If you are looking for a compassionate, trustworthy caregiver you need to look no further! I have so much experience with elderly patients. I have had multiple stroke patients, low or no mobility, dementia, diabetes, and the list goes on. I am cpr certified as well. For me, being a caregiver is very rewarding. I enjoy helping others and find it comes naturally for me. In 2006 my mother was diagnosed with dementia. Quick background, I was adopted at 16 by this awesome woman and it totally changed my life. It saved me. So my mom was my world and I was saddened by the news. Because she did so much for me it only made sense that I do the same for her. For the first 3 years my brother and I shared the duties with more of the personal falling on me as the disease progressed. Eventually she needed a to be in a facility where she had round the clock care. We drove from Delaware to Pennsylvania every week to visit and got to know everyone and they became family too. After she passed I found myself continuing to go and visit people and volunteer at Sunrise. Partly out of habit and partly because some just didn't have anyone else. I eventually had to go back to my painting business and take care of things. Fast forward to 2020 and the Covid 19 quarantine. While on furlough, I kept hearing about industries that were impacted by essential workers not making it to work and Home Health Care was a big one. I asked myself what I would do if this was happening when my mom needed help. What if mom's caregiver didn't show up and I couldn't travel to help her? Sitting at home, being on furlough wasn't for me, so I decided to go back to caregiving full time and became an essential worker. One of my favorite parts of caregiving is companionship. Like I stated earlier, my mom adopted me when I was 16, but I didn't mention that she was in her 70's. I loved to hear her stories about how things were back in the early 1900s. Her experiences. Hearing it firsthand is so different, and better, than reading about it. I still feel that way so in addition to helping with ADL's, I love to sit and talk with my clients and they love to have someone to listen.

I love taking care of the elderly, and treat them like family. I try to live my Bible everyday and helping people is the best way to do this, I like to makes my clients life better with the relationship that I form with them.

I love to help people in general, especially the elderly and disabled. I enjoy gearing there amazing stories of there past when they was younger. My best achievement so far would have to be sticking with the same job for so long. Most CNA's get tired of it after a few years, but not me!

I am compassionate and reliable. I have 15 years of experience as a caregiver. I have been certified ad a nurse assistant since 2003.

I absolutely love what I do. I love taking care of the elderly and getting to know them, hearing all the neat stories they have to share. I got into this business due to my mom. She worked for hospice and had a patient that needed help on the weekends. Due to her job my mom was not able to do it so she asked if I would. Hesitant at first, I decided to do it. She was 98 when I started and 99 when she passed. I fell in love with that woman and miss her terribly! I would most definitely, without a doubt, take care of your loved one the way I would take care of mine and would want my loved one taken care of.

I have worked full-time in Neurosurgery at St. Thomas. I primarily worked with 1 physician, Dr. Carl Hampf. I was responsible for everything with regard to the running of his Office, his schedule, his clinical days schedule and also yes his ever-changing monthly surgical schedule, I am rich I was also responsible for any and all clearance needed or necessary for the patient upcoming surgery. I am also currently in college working toward my degree in nursing, with a goal of becoming a RN. I have always worked in healthcare. It brings me joy to be able to provide care to someone in need.

My mom was a cna when I was growing up, and she would take me and my sisters to her residents' houses with her. We loved to go and make them smile. I am a conversation starter and a great listener. I treat everyone differently for their own personalized care.
