I always went the opposite direction from Healthcare while finding a career. Until I was forced to take on the role, I never thought I was the type. Turns out im exactly the type and maybe even born to do it. I have a natural ability to care for people. I see beyond the brave words and read whats really wrong with people. I love that! I am a compassionate person by nature. I've never met a person I didn't like. I treat everyone as I'd treat my own family and posses a certain understanding of the aging process that most caregivers lack. I genuinely care for every client I have and it's shows in my work.

Being a great caregiver consists of having compassion and true understanding of senior care. Alzheimer/Dementia patients are a plus for me. My mother has dementia and there is a special kind of love and care that is needed on a daily basis with a lot of patience.
