Hello! My name is Beth. I am 37 years old & the mother to 2 boys (19 & 7). Throughout my entire life I have been referred to as an "old soul", often relating to & befriending folks over 60. I have always cherished what their generation has to share & what they've given to us. Listening to them recall their past & share advice is honestly the most rewarding bonus about being a caregiver! I truly believe caregiving was what I was called to do & I'm so thankful it's my passion! I have over 14 years of experience, mostly with seniors & working with Dementia/Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, & terminal illness. I assist my clients by providing companionship & help w/ bathing, dressing, meal prep, laundry, house keeping, dishes, meds, appts, shopping, transportation, scheduling, keeping care logs, & any other daily needs. I have experience working w/ the Hoyer lift & wheelchair (both manual & electric). I do my best to get clients up & around, keeping their blood flowing and muscles strong. Hi I'm sara, I'm 25 years old with a strong and motivated mindset. I am always coming up with creative ways to put a smile on my clients faces! Keeping their spirits high has always made a positive impact on them. I started out as a student at a small facility in malakoff tx, I got certified almost 3 years ago and learned quite a bit becoming a CNA. I believe one of the reasons I am a great caregiver is because I take my time, encourage and follow safety protocols when working with the clients. I keep it professional and I know how to keep what could seem like a bad day a great day! I have worked in nursing homes, hospitals, home healthcare and hospice. I love taking care of the elderly, I look at each and everyone of them as if they were my grandparents. What made me want to become a CNA was watching my grandmother suffer and succumb to cancer and there wasn't anything I could do to help her feel better. I love being a CNA because of the relationships and connections I develop with each person I care for. I learn so much by just having conversations with my elders.

Hello I have been a CNA for over 10 years. I've worked from Texas to Colorado during covid. Recently I had my first child who is 11 months already so I am finally going to settle down in one spot. I've lived in Corsicana for 17 years so this is home. I followed in my sister's footsteps who was a CNA first and in my opinion the best if I can be half as good as she was. I like the one on one time with my patients versus the nursing home environment which is fast paced very little time with each patient. I've worked in nursing homes for all 17 years either with an agency or the facility it's self. I've worked as a sitter for different families as well during my time.

I personally love help people in general, young or elder. I became a Certified Nursing Assistant for many reasons, the most important one being that i could be there when nobody else could. I love spending time and asking their stories. i wouldn't change it for the world.

I don't have patients I have new family members to care for. It's my effortless compassion to focus on him/her with love, kindness and a desire to learn their needs with adaptability. I became a caregiver because my loved ones (your family members) need to know someone cares and is fully committed to fulfilling their needs, as they deserve. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is restoring security, safety, and trust during our newfound relationship. One of my proudest personal achievements is when I realized I have the ability to love everyone. It takes a special someone to know they're here to serve others but to genuinely love and serve others is something that cannot be taught. I am that someone.

I have a big caring heart for the people I care for. I was attracted to go into healthcare after living in with my grandmother the year before she passed and taking care of her day in and out until her last days. I enjoy being the person people depend on to be there and I enjoy taking care of people as much as I can. And I am most proud of being the only to step up and take care of my grandmother and being able to be there for her day in out and getting to hear all of her stories even if she told me the same one 100x's over !!
