I have a passion for helping others. I have been in senior care for the last 11 years. I started as a caregiver and now have moved on to a management role but still love helping others.

My name is Chimdinma and I'm a Caregiver with about 7 years experience. I have a giving personality, I enjoy helping people and this is reflected in the way I take care of my patients. I always remain cool, calm and collected in every situation and I maintain a positive attitude while caring for my patients with patience and compassion.

I have worked in the in home health industry for 7 years now. I began my career in the medical field after my father was diagnosed with cancer. It was then that I realized what I was chosen to do in this world and that was ensuring I cared for others in time of need.

I believe I am a great caregiver because I am able to put the individuals needs before my own; caring for others is something I also take a lot of pride in. After being a mother for many years and after my kids were old and grown, I came to the realization that my life was lacking something very important. I get self-satisfaction by caring for those who need it the most. Everyone deserves to have their needs met whether they can do it themselves or not. If not, then I want to be the person to help. This is why I became a caregiver. Not only does this give me a sense of accomplishment, but more importantly, my greatest accomplishment happens everyday when I am successfully able to care for others and meet their everyday needs.

I started with hospice because I wanted to give the best care to families and patients that needed someone to help them in their time of need. I love when I make a persons day better.

I started taking care of my mom when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis , I cared for her until her passing , my dad had a stroke and I cared for him for 9 months , my brother was diagnosed with liver disease and I took care of him , my daughter was a premie baby weighing 1 lb 12 oz and was very sick and legally blind and i raised her into adulthood, I became a dental assistant for a oral surgeon for 12 years , after her retired in 2014 I started caring for a elderly man of 91 , he had a feeding tube and I cared for him for 3 years until he passed, I continued to care for 3 more individuals with various health issues , my recent lady that was diagnosed with dementia is being admitted to a memory care facility , I just love caring for people and helping to keep them in their homes , I'm compassionate and patient , reliable and I will do everything I can to ensure their health and safety and happiness .
