Hello. My name is Sabrina Gonzalez and I am 28 years young. I absolutely love caring for people and doing whatever I can to help with everyday task. We only have one life and it should be full of quality care. A little about me, I am a Licensed Practical Nurse, engaged to a wonderful man, and we have a 1 year old son. I come from a close family. My mother taught me to be loving, caring, and all around kind therefore that is what I intend to do.

I have been a Cna for 27 years. I have worked in nursing facilities and in home care. I currently work as a direct support professional at a group home on Thursday through Saturday and am looking to pick up a few shifts on my days off which are Sunday through Wednesday.

I am a person that love to help people when i was young I was in and out of the hospital due to heart problems I was told i would not live past age 15 I was also told i would no be able to have kids I have accomplished both with no problem I feel god has a plan for me and it is to help others I have wanted to help others every since I was young I feel its my calling I have Helped people through bad situations and been there thru good I have been there holding there hand when they took there last breath God sends people to me to help them and I try my best to do it

I am 38yrs old and I have worked in the healthcare industry for 18+ years. I started in assisted living doing aide duties. I then worked my way up to medication technician, then to resident care coordinator. During that time I also went to school and achieved my EMT liscence. After 10yrs at the same facility I chose to resign and Perdue my EMS career. I have always enjoyed taking care of people, it is the most fullfilling and personally rewarding thing to me. I am honest, dependable, trustworthy, and empathetically compassionate.

I am a very loving and compassionate person. I work hard to give my clients the respect, empathy, and quality of life they need and deserve. I am a strong believer in patient advocacy, Thier rights and care are of complete importance to me. I carry a lot of pride in myself and my job. It is my duty as a nursing assistant for over 20 years, to go above and beyond to make sure the care of my client is that of superior quality. I have worked in private/home care, as well as hospital/rehab and nursing home settings. Also am very knowledgeable in hospice and end of life care. I pride myself on being a very outgoing, affectionate caregiver, with lots of smiles, laughter and hugs. I feel human touch is necessary in life for healing and comfort. Also I served in the United states Army as a mechanic for 10 years, so I hold myself to high standards in my personal life and in my career fields. I never come into work or leave without a smile!

I have more than 15 years of clinical experience working with adults. I am a licensed Registered Nurse. I have precepted new graduates, and I have had my certification as a Medical Surgical nurse and in Basic Life Support, and in Acute Care Life Support. I am passionate about caregiving, and I enjoy working with those clients with dementia. I have volunteered with the Alzheimer's Association for the past 5 years. I enjoy helping patients with medication management and skin care. I am able to think critically, and I enjoy working as a member of a cohesive team. I also have experience working with end of life care and palliative care, and I enjoy those disciplines.

I started out taking care of my grandparents, then just continued. I love assisting people of all ages live their best life and assisting them to do so.

I have been a trained caregiver for 18 years. I love helping people age in place. I find it so rewarding to help our seniors stay in their homes or wherever comfortable and do activities to help them feel youthful, like exercise and community outings. I am a strong advocate, especially for those who have loved ones who live out of town. I will take your loved one to appointments, gather detailed information, and repot back to you. I also take pride in the fact that I have been able to motivate seniors to take part in task they loose interest in like bathing and meals just to name a few.
