Hello everyone my name is Teanna Murphy, I have 9 years of expert experience in the medical field. I hold many titles/hats. To go down the list I am a CNA, med aide, aba clinician, companion, direct support professional and professional pizza lover. I have worked in facilities such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, group homes(youth and adults) , jails, asylums etc. You name it I've done it. My short term goal is to find a stable family or families I can work with ..out of everywhere I worked I truly enjoy working in home care because I feel like I'm actually useful and can bond and create a great professional relationship with he client and family. The thing I enjoy the most is making my clients happy and helping them with their ADL's. I'm an animal lover so if you have any ill love them right away and treat them as if they are my own pets. Being a caregiver gives me an immense amount of joy. But if I could highlight a particular aspect about being a caregiver as my favorite, it would be knowing that I am transforming someone else's life for the better.

I'm a registered nurse with 10 years experience. My background is critical care, post-operative care and prior charge nurse experience in orthopedics/telemetry. I'm a mom of 3 young children. I'm hardworking, organized, attentive to detail and compassionate about providing high quality care with each client I encounter. After years of being at the bedside and witnessing far too many elderly and disabled clients admitted with preventable health ailments- I've decided to transition my career to provide quality care and help my community prevent these cases from happening. I pride myself in honest, genuine care- with the promise to care for your loved one as if they were my own.

Being a certified nursing assistant is my second career, and I am very passionate about it because I love to help people. My first career was as an accountant, which taught me to be organized, dependable, punctual and respectful of other people. I chose to be a nurse assistant because of the satisfaction I receive from doing a job that is important and helps others. When I worked at Mary Washington Hospital, I received many comments from my patients about how well I cared for them and helped them with their daily needs. It always gave me a great deal of satisfaction when they were able to leave the hospital feeling better and happy about their care from me.

I've been a caregiver for 21 years I love my job what attracts me to be a caregiver when I was 15 years old and I had to take care of my grandma the most I enjoy about being a caregiver is being able to help someone seen them smile being the light of their day I just finished my medication classes and I am currently in a GED program and I will be starting nursing school next summer to become a registered nurse

I'm compassionate, patient, and reliable, which helps me connect with people and give them the care they need. I was drawn to caregiving because I love making a real difference in someone's life, whether it's emotional or physical support. What I enjoy most is building relationships and seeing my patients feel better knowing I'm there for them. One personal achievement I'm proud of is balancing nursing school, being a mom, and work while staying focused and supportive for everyone I care for.
