I started doing home care in June 2009 as a Nurse Assistant/ PCA , I mainly did private duty cases overnight 11pm-7am and I really enjoy it. It was hard at times but i enjoy taking care of my clients , making sure they were fed, bathed, and had a good night rest. Most of my home care clients had dementia or was recovering from surgery or some sort. I started doing homecare when i was temporary taking care of my grandmother while my parents were at work , after i graduated from high school . i would have to say that was a personal achievement of mine , to get my Nurse Assistant/PCA certification after helping caring for my grandmother.

I am very compassionate, caring, hands on. My mom was a caregiver and she was the epitome of what a great was can be. I enjoy helping others, I am a registered medication aide and I am proud of this achievement.

I am currently a CNA at Riverside Doctors Hospital but am looking to get into Home Health Care. I have been a CNA for over 2 years now and love every moment of it. I have a lot of patience and enjoy spending time with people. I love being there for someone's love one when they can't be, but they know that they are being well taken care of and watched over.

I have been a C.N.A. for now 2 years. I love what I do. My great grandma is who inspired me to be who I am today i took care of my great grandma for 5years she passed away 2years ago that's when I decided to do something i enjoyed doing. I wish I would have done the schooling when she was alive so I could have took better care of her i had no idea how to take care of prevent bed sores. No knowledge at all on bed sores.. But I did i know she would be proud of me. I treat my patients as if I'm taking care of my mom or grandma. I treat others how I want to be treated. I am good at what I do i do not mind working weekends or nights i am up for any shift. I work hard and always on time.

I have compassion, love, patience for what I do as a Certified Nurse Assistant and as a Hospice Aide. I took care of my mom and sis which made me want to be a nurse assistant for life!!
