I started as a caregiver my first quarter of college. I had never been in the healthcare field and I must admit that when I did get hired as a caregiver, i thought to myself 'what am i getting into?' Like any other job i was nervous at first, i had never done this and would i be able to take care of another human? i didn't think i would make it a month! How wrong I was! Soon after starting, i began to realize this was more than just a paycheck, I went to work and came home feeling good because i could help people, make them laugh with my goofiness, take them out to see new places even if it was close to their home. The fact that i could encourage people to come out and enjoy life was an amazing feeling! And although i do not plan on doing this for the rest of my life, it is nice to feel that while i am doing it, i can help influence people to live happy and comfortable lives with my assistance.

I'm an easy going open minded type of person. Always trying to see the positive in a situation. I pride myself as to always being on time, if not early to a job. I am compassionate towards all living things. I enjoy hearing stories and listening to people reminisce , whether they be young or old. I have many years of experience in the healthcare field and enjoys new opportunities. My own personal achievement is my son. Raising him to be a strong, loving , responsible human being for his wife and future children

I have a great sense of humor, am easy going and easy to get along with, and pay attention to details. I am a motivated, self starter that requires minimal guidance and little to no supervision to help my clients succeed. I have a passion to care for those in the end of life stages and that is what drew me to start my studies to become a nurse on day. I was a late bloomer, but found my passion when I became a caregiver four years ago. Families are busy today and often need someone reliable, like myself, to help tend to their loved ones needs when they cannot be there.
