I having been a police for over 25 years, my career changed suddenly in 2018 after I lost my sister to cancer. I was away when she passed on and when I came back I was told that my sister's health detorriated so much and she had no caregiver to assist her even to get to hospital at times perhaps she would have atleast lived longer if there was someone to assist her. I was disappointed to know this and from that day on I decided to go out and care for those who need help so here I am and I always want to give the best I can.

My organizational skills allow me to complete all tasks in a timely manner and to be able to devote time to helping with other household duties such as cleaning laundry and dishes. Hello my name is Karla, I have been a caregiver since 1998. Besides caregiving I also have a love for animals, dogs, cats, horses, etc. I live on a small farm in Vader. I knew I wanted to be a caregiver when I was 16, my grandfather moved in with us and we hired hospice to help us care for him. I was in awe of the help we recieved from these wonderful ladies. I worked in a hospital for 20 years. I started out in housekeeping then went to school to recieve my Certified Nurses Aide certificate for Washington state. I have worked in many aspects for the hospital from babies to hospice, emergency room to recovery. I choose to do in home health care when I moved to Vader. I enjoy in home caregiving because I get to meet very interesting clients and families. I enjoy the slower pace of caring for a client one on one. From bathing, playing games, Dr appointments, cooking and cleaning their homes. I am happy to do what it takes to keep your family member safe and happy in their home environment.
