I am type one Diabetic! I have been a caregiver for going on 3 years! I worked at a Memory Care Home and am very familiar with Alzheimer's and Dementia and I absolutely loved working in memory care! All i've ever done is care for other people mainly family members that's what makes me happy. I decided to make caregiving as my career after years of taking care of family members. my mother was a nurse she taught me a lot about caring for people. i took care of my mom for 16 years until she passed away in 2018. i know she's very proud of me showing the love to other people as i showed to her when cared for her. i love most about caregiving is making a difference in someone's life helping make their lives more meaningful. i'm proud of the good care i give to people and the joy i have brought to their lives and most of all taking care of my mother knowing she was happy all the way to her last day. there's nothing more i'd rather do in life but to bring happiness and joy in people lives
