Hello! I'm Kaitlyn, from Winchester, VA. I am a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA). I have 5+ years working as a CNA. I received my BA from Virginia Commonwealth University and I am currently working on my masters at Mary Baldwin University. I work a full-time at home job and am looking to pick up a few hours working as a CNA. I enjoy working as a CNA because I love getting to know people and their stories, assisting those who may have no one else to depend on, and providing genuine support. I am laid back and easy going. My clients like me because I allow them to do whatever they're able to do. I only help them to keep them safe. I feel my client find their autonomy one of the most important things they have left. I love this work. I feel like I'm an important part of these people's lives. The one thing I hate is when I have to leave them for one reason or another.

I'm really down to Earth! I'm an old soul in a young body! I almost never stop smiling! I love to talk to my elders because they have already lived many years and I love to hear their stories! I have 3 kids ranging from 6 years old to 18 months old! My 6 year old is Autistic but I manage well with everything! I always work everything at home around my work schedule! I am a girl that likes to be early to everything! Lateness is not acceptable! I have worked in Assisted living since I was 19 years old; from 2015 to 2020! I currently work with special needs adults in a care facility! Not only am I CPR certified but I have my Food Handler Certificate && I am COVID-19 vaccinated! You're vaccination status doesn't mean anything to me! That is your personal choice!

I am an empathetic person which allows me to care for anybody. I am attracted to caring for people because of the way it makes me and the person receiving care feel. I enjoy helping people feel better. Personally, I am proud of getting accepted into the nursing program.

I became a caregiver early on in my life. I was raised by my Grandmother and she had numerous health issues. I watched and learned from her everyday. After I lost her in 2000, I decided to become a Nursing Assistant. I have worked private care(which is my favorite), hospitals and nursing homes. I much prefer the one on one care because it gives a better chance to connect and learn the patients needs. I am very intuitive on my patient/client at all times. I will provide the best care within my capabilities.

I attended a school to help obtain my certification for home health aide under state of New Jersey and have experience in private home care, facility, and worked for agencies. I also did live in care and had special training with dementia care. I am very compassionate about my work and being able to help elderly patients and their families. I am able to provide good references and would like to help more patients and their families. I just recently got tested for COVID-19 and tested negative and have no problem with getting tested again if needed.

I am an experienced medical professional with extensive home care experience throughout life to family and friends in need. I love helping elders so that they can remain in their homes and out of nursing homes or assisted living facilities when possible due to medical ailments. Hi, my mission is to help, assist and put a smile on every one I take care of face. Taking care of people is very important to me knowing I did my job 100%. With three years experience, I have been known to be the best employee and the best caregiver of someone's loved one. I am going to nursing school and wanting to become a registered nurse and I know I am meant to take care of people. I always feel like I can make everyday better than the day before with my positive attitude and warming heart to give. My favorite thing about my job is either hearing from a family member thank you for what you do and taking the best care of my loved one or to hear the people I take care of miss me when it is my day off. I love working and I can never get enough satisfaction from what I do. I take care of people who is going through rehabilitation, dementia care patients, and assistant living patients. The range of age I have cared for with 51 being the youngest and 103 being the eldest. CPR certified. I love going home with a smile on my face because of my job. I am proud of working with co workers who are older than me but it does not make a difference and I used to train new employees on their job.
