My dedication to my job and my patients makes me a great caregiver. I became a care giver because my grand father was very sick and I wanted to be like the aid that helped us take care of him when he was sick. I like how personal and close you become with the people you are caring for while at work. I got my CNA license while still in high school then once I received my license went to school full time and still kept up and did well while finishing the school year strong

I am very empathetic, compassionate, trustworthy and respectful. I am a good listener and a good conversationalist about most topics. I am gentle and caring person and treat everyone I care for as a caregiver equally from all walks of life. I decided I wanted to pursue a career in healthcare and CNA work when my grandfather fell I'll 25 years after he had a brain aneurysm, I cared for my grandfather for almost 2 years before he passed away in 2018. What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is seeing how much I am able to give the people I take care of a sense of independence, stability and making them feel loved and comfortable. Seeing them smile and happy, making sure to ensure the people I care for that they are seen and that they are not a burden or unloved but that they are loved. Making the people I care for have a sense of hope after my caretaking is very rewarding. One of my biggest personal achievements I am most proud of is becoming a mother. As well as pushing myself to go back to school and graduated college with my medical assistant diploma and graduating with high honors with a GPA of 3.93!

What makes me a great caregiver is my compassion and understanding for a person health. I enjoy helping others that may need a little extra help helping themselves. I feel great joy making days a little bit easier for patients. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the ability to help others, put a smile on their face and help them get through their toughest days.

I have been a CNA over 30 years and a Caregiver for over 15 years, I love working with the elderly alot. I am a outgoing person easy to work with. Pretty flexible. I love working one on one with the elderly, I like listening to thier stories also I am very patient. I am very reliable and dependable. I have my own car. I have CPR and First Aid also I have a background clearance card.

When I was 27 years old my husband got a brain tumor & he became paralyzed with in 3 years. He was a smart Engineer and lost all independence. He went thru Chemo & Radiation & lost his eyesight. Helping him & my 3 kids under the age of 6 still staying loving &positive was my main goal. I tried helping them all each & every day become the best , happiest & most thankful people God created them to be. He lived 3 years & my kids are all now loving respectful adults with wonderful lives. I couldn't ask for anything more. I'd have to say this was my biggest accomplishment.

I became a caregiver to fulfill my enjoyment of helping others with what they can not or may struggle to do. In my past jobs I have grown to deeply care about my patients and whole heartedly help them in their everyday tasks with a smile on my face. I am personally proud to say I have kept in contact with my past patients to follow up.
