I became a caregiver because i wanted to help others to help themselves and because I enjoy knowing that I can make a difference in someones life. I like knowing that I can make someones life that much easier just by being patient, understanding, kind, loving, and willing to listen as well as paying attention to things to help them in their everyday life. I started being a caregiver for my mom when she got sick and I just loved caring for her so when I started caring for other people I loved it even more because of the love the clients shows towards me and it lets me know I'm doing what is needed to be done I mostly love being a caregiver because of the love the clients show and helping people is a big plus for me I'm very honest reliable and trustworthy and hardworking

I have worked with a variety of clients that have depression, multiple sclerosis, Down syndrome, diabetes, Parkinson's disease, and elder care. I was attracted to caregiving because I really enjoy helping others and making a difference in people's lives. I enjoy the relationships that have developed in my experience with being a CNA. I never thought that I would be able to do this type of work, and by having an open mind to try something new, I discovered that helping others is quite intuitive to me as well as extremely rewarding.
