I'm currently have 3 National Medical Certifications. Getting ready to graduate with a bachelor degree in sociology. I'm headed to grad school after graduation. I love taking care of individuals with physical mental or emotional disorders. I have a heart of gold and enjoy sharing my skills to help individuals that can not take care of themselves.

I am a very compassionate and easygoing person. Strive to do my best and help others. I Love working with people. Very outgoing, encouraging and motivated to do what needs to be done. Whether it is just being there or helping out, I love helping others. Very honest, dependable and hardworking. Christian, non-smoker, loves animals. I treat my clients as family. I have obtained my Associate degree in Science, Arts and Medical Assisting. I also finished my bachelor degree. I also have many years in the nursing field as a Certified Medical Assistant.

I have 17 years experience in caregiving, enjoy giving back to people.

I am a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. I volunteer at Goodwill and Habitat in Chipley. I have been a caregiver for seniors starting in 2007-2023. I miss being able to help another family. I am available, any day or time. I have stayed with my seniors in their homes, hospital, and nursing home. I prepared meals, medicine, light housekeeping, went to Dr appointments with their family members, kept them company until their family members return from work.. bathing, anything needed. I'm dependable.. I've never missed any appointments with the seniors. I love being there with them, letting them tell me about their lives. I love watching tv with them and enjoying watching them laugh and smile. They become family to me. Being able to let them stay home, seems to keep them around longer. Not only am I helping them and their families, but it helps me, knowing I matter.

As a caregiver, I have found that my compassion, empathy, patience, attention to detail, organization, communication skills, experience, knowledge, and flexibility have all contributed to my ability to provide effective care to my clients. I will continue to cultivate and develop these traits and skills to ensure that I can provide the best possible care to those who need it. I was attracted to being a caregiver because I have a genuine passion for helping others. I find it rewarding to be able to make a positive impact on someone's life and assist them in their time of need. I also enjoy the personal connections I am able to make with the individuals I care for. It's a fulfilling job that allows me to make a difference every day. My greatest achievement is my work ethic. My work ethic is centered around being trustworthy and committed. I believe trust is the foundation of any successful endeavor, and I strive to uphold it in all aspects of my work. I am also deeply committed to the tasks I am given. I approach every project with dedication and perseverance. I have proven to be a strategic thinker that always has long-term goals in mind. My compassion for taking care of my patients, I'm disciplined, understanding, patience and a good listener. Also, my experience. With my experience as a LPN , I've always enjoyed that hands on, one on one with a patient. And seeing that my care has made a difference in a patient life. The joy of taking care of another person. I've always wanted to be a nurse every since I was a little girl, I became a LPN which I enjoyed so I can say that was one of my personal achievements.

I became a care giver because I once had to that dedicate my time and energy to helping my grandparents during their transitional and tough times in their lives. I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where I have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoy taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like older adults and feel I can get along well with a variety of elders.

What makes me a great Caregiver is God's Love and Compassion I Have for people. My Passion is taking care of the elderly. I have a Wonderful and Bubbly personality that will change the atmosphere when I walk in. What attracted me to being a caregiver because I took care of my granda which suffered from being partially Blind and suffered from Prostate Cancer until he passed away at 97. I took care of my aunt which suffered with Kidney problems back and forth to dialysis and she suffered a stroke on Left side. I also was a Live in for two brothers one with Cancer and one with Diabetes with one leg amputation. There is nothing really more to say is that I took care of them because I love helping people and they requested me to be their caregivers. This is what attracted me , It felt so me like this was what I was born to do. What I Love the Most about being a Caregiver is Listening at their stories and making them happy. I Love going beyond to make sure they are comfortable.. What I mean going beyond. I may massage their hurting hands, Legs and feet or cook their favorite meal or transport them to an outing to get some fresh air. Just to help them stay Mobile and keep their spirits alive. Sometimes they lose their confidence and they need their nails or toes Polished or assist them with things they used to do that they thought was gone. My Personal achievement that I am proud of is starting my own Business.
