I grew up in medical family, I trained in US Air Force as an Emergency Medical Tech, became a CNA with nursing career path. I have worked in acute hospitals and have also provided nursing care and maintained private duty nursing and psych patients for over 10 years successfully. I am passionate about making sure all patients receive excellent quality and loving care. Caring for others and patient care is my life . I have had adult, geriatric, children, and hospice experience. I have been registered with FBI as a medical professional to work with children, youth and adults in AZ and CA. I'm very outgoing and loveing and I love that I can help family with anything that need with caregiving I'm job is to bring comfort and happiness to the family.

What i like the most about caregiving is the ability to treat those as I would want myself to be treated in time of need. I find that with compassion, good listening skills and trying to understand and empathize with my clients not only does my client feel loved but learn that they can work towards a goal, increase their independance or have one that will help meet my clients needs . I find it extremely rewarding personally and always find new friends and family along this path.

My motto is always treat client the way I would want my parents or myself treated.Respect the fact I am in their home and include family members in care decisions. I wanted to be a nurse from time I was 8 yrs old and soon as I finished high school went into medical profession and feel I have a positive and compassionate personality . I have over 40 years experience with many letters of reference and awards as a caregiver such as employee of month/year. I love caring for others especially dementia/Alzheimer's as my grandfather was such a person 40 years ago. I love giving people a chance at a Good quality of life no mater what their diagnosis,Hold the hand of a person as they are slipping away and being a comfort to their family because caregiving is caring for family as well in being supportive. I remain like family to all my past clients family. My best achievement is making a time in someone's life which is hard better because I was there. I am a happy patient person who loves her life and doing for others. I love animals, I enjoy looking at pictures and learning about people's lives. I'm a good listener and enjoy talking. My wonderful Mother who was a nurse and the type of person that helped me see how lucky I was in my life. She helped me to look at people where they stood, no judgement, but take the time to see them. My Mom would introduce us to people in public that some would stare at, including me. We would say hello, we wanted to meet you. Some of the mom's would thank us saying how most people look at them funny or as if they are freaks. One man told us about how he lost his arm and why he had a hook in its place. As I grew up I always took the time to get to know people and really care. I enjoy giving of myself to people that need a little help with somethings. I like to do whatever I can to help out. I'm strong and have healing hand in the sense of warm to the touch and can give help to sore spots. I like to assist in what people need and I enjoy taking the time. I like making things look nice and I love to cook for everyone. I was able to take care of my Mom before she died. My husband and I moved in with my mom and dad for the last 2 years. I felt it was a privilege to care for my parents who gave me so much love. I know my mom was very grateful for the help, but what made me feel good was that she knew I honestly felt it a privilege to care for her.

My personality allows me to be a great caregiver because I am not afraid to listen and have compassion. I've always admired the older generation, as they have so much more experience and great stories to tell. When I work with the elderly, especially those that need more help than others, it gives me a sense of humanity that is rewarding to me. I sometimes feel as though it was my calling.
