Hello, my name is Angelica. I've been someone who goes above and beyond for people for as long as I've been able to. I have a kind spirit and making sure people are cared for properly has always been my main focus. It wasnt until highschool that I knew how to get started in a career that allowed me to do that. I've been a volunteer caregiver since 2019 and became certified and paid to do it starting December of 2020. Being as young as I am; I always had little nagging feelings about whether or not I was making an impact in patient's lives. It wasn't until I looked back at all the families I've cared for, as well as started working in a rehab facility, that I realized how much help I provide. I've had patients become emotional and show how grateful they are that I'm able to be so kind, patient, gentle, and humane all while making sure they are being taken care of fully. I believe that to be the thing I enjoy most about myself as a caregiver. It isn't "just a job," it's taking the time to help people who need it and treating them as the worthy people they are. I am married with a 14yr old son and im the oldest of 7 so im pretty much use to being the person others depend on and leaning on me for support. I started out in the health field in 2008 working with the disabled people.. From the ages of 5 and up. I worked with people With autism I work with people with behavior issues, CP cervical, to people with diabetes cancer Strokes Alzheimer dementia I work with people with catheters G tubes pretty much all the above I love what I do I started out as just a support provider and now I'm a Certified nursing assistant, now currently state certified Patient Care Tech, I am currently in school for Radiology Tech. I definitely love my health career and plan on staying in this field for a while

I like to help people who doesn't have the ability to help themselves. When I see the elders I am picturing my mother. I like giving them care, I also like to see them going to the next level while I'm with them. I'm a married woman I have four children and two grandchildren.

All my clients love me. I am a enthusiastic person theres never a bad day at work with me. I was attracted to being a caregiver because my grandmother was in it and I adapted to it and became to love it. I love making my clients happy the most. I became a can in 1991 lookin for a different career path then . worked in nursing rehabilitation home for 3 years learned so much . I did work in for agencies for in home visits as well for the next 7 years. I continued my education in Georgia to become a cma certified medical assistant. I have recently taken a can course at Cumberland health center . recertified can cpr/ first aid .
