I am a college student at Eastern Washington University, currently pursuing my major in nursing and minored in psychology. I am people oriented and easy to carry conversations with, on the daily. My home town is in Maui, Hawaii, as of right now Spokane, Washington is where I call home.

Simple achievements like understanding a person at a certain age or condition can not hold a big glass and drink enough water comfortably or during the pandemic while family members could not visit their loved ones setting up video calls and guiding them how to communicate with new technology brings joy and satisfaction to all. Although it started as a job now it's a way of life being that shoulder to lean on.

I have worked as a CNA for over 16 years in a wide variety of settings including hospital, nursing home, assisted living, hospice and home health. I love working with seniors! They have amazing life stories, and I just really enjoy helping them . I have experience with memory care, medication assistance, and can provide references upon request. I'd describe my personality as energetic, helpful, and activity oriented. I started working with kids when I was a teenager, I was a cabin leader at the summer camp I'd grown up going to. In my spare time, I like to use my kayak and bake all sorts of goodies. One thing you should know about me is that I'm a mover, if there's an activity or something to go do then I'd much rather do that then screens.

I am a very personable person I've always worked in retail because I loved the person to person interaction. I've always been able to get along with most people because I could read and pickup on their personality and that helped me better understand them as a person. I got attracted to caregiving because I wanted to give more to those around me. I believe that everyone who need assistance should get the help they deserve because there's so much negativity out there, there needs to be more positivity and kindness. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is getting to provide that comfort that other need and making them feel at ease because they aren't alone. A personal achievement in pound of is going to trade school to become more knowledgeable about how to help others i never likes school not because of the learning though it was more the teachers and other student and how you were ranked as a person by a grade in the grade book so I never thought I'd go back to school after high school until I found my path to caregiving I was actually passionate about it and excited to be going back to school and learning about something I was interested in so it was a proud moment for me ,

I am very compassionate. I treat every person with respect. I feel every person deserves to live the best life for them possible and my passion is to make that happen.

My girlfriend, who is a nursing student and a caregiver, recommended that I become a caregiver due to the lack of men in the field, my patience with those in need, and my desire to help others. I was skeptical at first, but have since worked with all kinds of patience with all kinds of needs. From a seventeen year old with autism to a forty year old with late stage MS, to an eighty seven year old with Parkinson's and Dementia. I have come to enjoy my clients and feel honored to assist them in their day to day lives.
