Hi my names Kelsey I have 1 year of caregiving experience. I love being a caregiver because the thought of being able to help someone family/loved ones with their basic needs, makes me happy. I take my jobs very serious and treat all my patients as if that were my mom or dad in the situation. Care giving is not always easy but I'm always willing to do what I can.

I have 8 years of Geriatric Care in Nursing homes, Assisted living facilities and in home care. I enjoy helping others and will continue my education to become a nurse practitioner and be able to provide health care to various ages of life through my career.

Something I've always took pride in is how caring I am towards people. I have always been empathetic and really dive in to conversations with people too get to know them. I am compassionate. I have always been a team player but I also believe in being a leader. I've put a lot of thought into being a healthcare worker, because it is not an easy job. But I've also thought about how many people need help in being cared for. I love the job that I do. I believe the most personal achievement I am proud of is getting so close to my patients. I've connected with a lot of people. I remember I had a patient that I took care of for almost a year and I really connected with her. After some time she got really sick and was soon going to pass. I met her family and asked them if I could sing to her and they let me ( I sang to her a lot). Little did I know that they were not going to be able to have a service for her. When we were done singing and praising they all just cried and thanked me. They told me that they weren't going to be able to have service and it was as if God brought the service through me as a vessel. I believe that was my greatest accomplishment in this job.

I am caring, understanding, outgoing, social, and I like to make things fun! I also have a lot of experience in being a caregiver, as I was my mother's caregiver for many years. I love being able to have a close or one on one relationship with the ones I care for. My first personal goal I achieved is receiving my CNA license.

I truly love being a caregiver and I like to treat all clients as I would if they were my own family members. I understand at times life can get hectic but I'm here to help and offer the best care, conversations, and compassion for your loved ones when in need. I have 15 years experience as a caregiver and have dealt with dementia, alzheimer's, diabetes, wound care, given medications, taken to doctor appointments ect.
