I am very loving of others around me . I love helping others with ANYTHING. I've been learning and doing home care with my grandmother from the age of 9 until she recently passed 2 years ago. I'm most happy when I'm able to help those in need. A personal achievement for me is graduating high school at the early age of 16.

I am looking for a part time position with hours in the evenings and/or weekends. I became a Caregiver because I enjoy being around people. My grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and after my grandfather passed away, I would visit her frequently to do her hair and other small tasks for her. The more time I spent there, I discovered how much I loved it. I got my Caregivers certificate within months and have never loved what I do so much. I love being able to help others. I love encouraging them to embrace what they can do and help them, gently, with what they are unable to do, now. Even though the job may be difficult at times, the reward at the end of the day is always worth it. I have worked in some very challenging circumstances where my patience, joy and understanding are challenged. I am proud to say that I have learned to understand where my client is coming from in different circumstances. I have learned to be patient with them during any situation and to be joyful before, during and after any trying time. I am a people person, with a big heart, who cares immensely for other people. I am trustworthy, kind, patient, caring and understanding.

Hello! My name is Andrea, you may also call me Andy (for short) I've been a CNA since 2008. What's helped me enjoy my career more than anything is my residents & families. I consider everyone I have got the pleasure of taking care of like extra grandparents and I couldn't thank their families enough for sharing them with me. I've been trained & also have worked with Alzheimer's, & dementia. My grandmother whom I took care of for a couple years also had this disease. I've been trained on hoyer lifts many times. Also I've been educated on puree foods, thicken liquids & mechanical soft. I have a family of 2 of which I absolutely adore. My 13 yr old son & 1 yr old little girl. They keep me busy when I'm not working our summers consist of baseball games, swimming & learning something new everyday.

At a very young age I realize that I always wanted to help people. From taking care of younger siblings to my grandpa when he got sick. I wanted to make sure that quality of life was being lived to the fullest. I enjoyed seeing others happy because I was able to help. I knew my passion of caregiving really took a toll on me when I started my first CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) job. The experience I received really grew my passion for being a caregiver!

I've been a Licensed CNA for 4 in a half years. I've worked in nursing homes assisted livings hospitals and mental/substance abuse units. I'm very genuine loving and understanding when it comes to my work because i know it's hard to find that in the healthcare field nowadays, it's like everyone just does it for the money and no passion behind it. Although i like to get paid it's genuine passion that comes with me. I got into this field because of my grandmother so i proud myself on treating my patients clients and/or residents as such. I'm currently in nursing school, well doing my prerequisites for nursing school at Ivy Tech Community College I'm super proud and excited about that because going back for my R.N has been a goal of mine since i became a CNA back in 2019. Hello, My name is Christan Chin. One of my strongest personality traits is my care and compassion for others. From 4 years old, my grandfather always expresses to me that I have always been catering and helpful. I have been working as a Dietary Aide for four years, I have been at multiple locations. I help residents with their dietary measures and I carry out several task that involve care, daily. I love seeing the bright smile on my residents face after I have carefully assisted them. This job position really allows me to execute my positive attributes. I love all of my residents and I tend to think of them when I am not working. That's how I know that I am developing relationships with every heart I pour into, vice versus. Furthermore, I currently am enrolled at IUPUI and I am studying epidemiology, which is the study of disease. My aspiration is to be an epidemiologist working in health departments analyzing diseases and it components. Through all of this, I still find time to love my residents and make their day brighter.
