My name is Gloria , I live in Fishers,in What do I like about being a caregiver? It gives me great comfort and satisfaction in helping someone else in need of care . I have been doing this for several years either by running errands, fixing or feeding someone their meals. I help by doing light house work, laundry, or whatever someone might need while I am with them. I have worked , at St Luke Home for the elderly. I have work for primrose schools Love sports and to read. Always open to doing fundraising or cold calling when need I, also, have three sons, who over the last 20 years needed me to assist in getting them to and from doctor and hospital appointments . All three sons were in need of a kidney and were in one stage of dialysis or in the hospital recovering. All have recovered and are doing well . My last son received his a year and a half ago. Now I am reaching out to help someone in need of assistance, who would need my help to get around fishers or someone who needs a caregiver to help in the home. I've been a caregiver for 4 years now. I've always said I wanted to help people since I was a child and seeing my mom in action and doing just that made me even more motivated once I got older. I am very caring person but can be reserved at times especially starting at new places. I am currently trying to get my cna and then move forward into the healthcare business. I enjoy being a caregiver because of the relationships and bonds I make with my clients. I enjoy going out with them and doing things they like or simply just sitting on the porch having a conversation.

I have always wanted to help people and make a positive impact on others. I had to perform life-saving for a client and saved their life. My military training exposed me to many cultures and people and prepared me to respond quickly in a crisis.

I became a care giver because I had several family members that needed help plus I cared for my late Husband at home for 3 years with Louies Body deminsia I love helping the older people with things they can not do by them selves At one time several years ago I was a CNA and loved it but didn't make enough money living on my own. I was really proud of myself by being able to take care of my Mother untill she passed and also was able to keep my late Husband at home up till the last year and he had no control of his muscles and had to put him in nursing home but I would be there every day from 7AM to 8PM after I got him in bed. I continued to give him his bed baths after they put him in the nursing home and was there to feed him every meal. I wanted something to do to keep busy plus help supplement my income. This is something I love doing and feel I would be very good at it. I would prefer something here close to home around the Delphi area if at all possible. I do not want to be a live-in but just caregiver to help with all needs as neccesary. I already have criminal back ground check my physical proof of insurance. Because I have applied for 2 other homecare jobs. Hoping to be hired by any homecare company
