I had my CNA/HHA certification for a couple years and accidentally let my certification expire. I am currently looking into getting recertified. I absolutely love working in the healthcare field. I really enjoy helping my patients/clients. Healthcare is such a rewarding career field. I have experience working with people who have dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease, the mentally/physically disabled, and people who just need a little help/companionship. What I believe makes me a great caregiver is because I always go above & beyond for my elders & treat them like my own family. I'm a naturally caring person & that's what I do best. What attracted me to being a caregiver is I have volunteered in the ER with my grandmother, who is a RN & I loved the rush & learning, which led me to going for my CNA license which I accomplished in high school while taking college classes. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the stories, the memories that I'll keep forever & helping people who need it. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is that I am a go getter. my name is kayla I've been a certified nursing assistant for 6 years now I am a mother of 4 little boys that I adore! I originally became a cna to keep my auntie home when she was in stage 3 terminal pancreatic cancer she passed away in 2009 and I've been cna certified ever since . I love being a cna because you touch people's lives on a daily basis it's a very rewarding job my life goal is to eventually become a occupational therapist and work with children in the future. I have experience in long term, respite, alzheimer and rehabilitation care . Dementia unit experience for 3 years and customer service training . I am currently car and first aid certified.

I have been a caregiver for 5+ years and I have worked in multiple health care fields with all different types of health issues. I have yet to run into something that I could not handle. Being a nurses assistant is what I do, I have thought about furthering my education multiple times but I keep coming down to the decision that I would not get that one on one time like I do now with my patients/residents. I am very proud of where this career as taken me and how my job makes me feel knowing I put a smile on someone's face and I was the person who was there for them when they didn't have someone to talk to. I am a very outgoing individual and I love to have fun with my co-workers and residents/patients. Everyday I go to work my number 1 goal is to make sure every single person I come in contact with get the best service I could provide with my experience and if I can not answer a question for them then I direct them where to go and also get educated on the answer myself for next time.

I really enjoy helping others. I became a CNA 15 years ago doing both long term care and home health care. I also have my Bachelor degree in health care manger. I have been trained with personal care of person and the social care also. I am able to help clean house and run errand if this would be needed. My name is Ashley Kemple, a born and raised kind hearted southern Indiana girl. I became a caregiver a few years ago after watching my grandparents become sick with cancer and at the time, wasn't able to help much. After seeing them suffer the way they did and not being able to help, all I wanted to do after that was help people who were in need of care just as they did. Ever since I've been a caregiver, the most rewarding part of my job and the main objective with each passing day is to give everyone the best treatment possible and to be able to put a smile on the person's face. Every day that I accomplish that, I go home knowing I've made some sort of difference in that person's life, and it makes me feel great about what I do.
