Hello, I'm Tamika I live in Hoyt, Kansas. I've been a Certified Nursing Assistant since 2014 in the state of Kansas. Previously, I was a Certified Nursing Assistant/Medication Aide in Nebraska started in 2011, before becoming certified in Kansas. I really enjoy working with patients/clients who need assistance with activities of daily living, whether its getting up and ready for the day, medication reminders, ambulation assistance, meal preparation, or just compainonship. I became a Certified Nursing Assistant because I enjoy making someones day bright by just a simple smile. I'm a single mom of a 4 year old boy. I work August through May as a Special Education Para with visually impaired children, for local school district.

I am dependable, outgoing, creative, caring and loving.

I really appreciate providing exceptional medical and caring qualities that it takes to help someone live a happier and longer life.

I feel as if I am a great comforter, I have good communication skills, I have had a year of experience as a caregiver and all the resident's I have taken care of along the way have made me more experienced and confident about what I do for them, When I was about 13, I had an elderly neighbor/friend that would come over every day for coffee and to talk with the family, well, he started getting older and weaker and I just always wished I could help him but never knew how until I get a wonderful opportunity in High school for CNA class and I loved it so much that I have never thought about having a different job since. What makes it really worth it is knowing that these people I am taking care of, have families whom I am making very happy along with the residents, I love their personalities and different routines, and becoming friends at the end of the day, and last but not least,I am proud of how many "Thank You's" I hear throughout the day because I honestly do my best to make everyone happy, I am happy that I have become skilled in so many ways of being a CNA.

I am a bubbly, extrovert, compassionate energetic redhead who loves to put those around me first before myself. I am in nursing school at Washburn and enjoy helping make other's lives brighter. Warms my heart when I have had patients tell me I'm in the right profession and that my patience and energy helped make their day a little better. I will continue to use my God given gifts to help impact each patient I encounter as I become a nurse.

Hello Diana here. I am a mother of 3 with 11 amazing grandchildren. I've worked in nursing for 30 years . I've enjoyed caring for so many families with there loved ones . I am happy . motivated . caring . I can multi-task . I loved being able to take my patients on outings. . A push in the wheel chair .do there nails or there hair . The smile they give makes day . Caring & supporting the families @ end of life was very rewarding as long as I know they are comfortable & understand.
