I am a CNA and CHHA with 15 years of experience. I am empathetic and have a passion for helping others improve their quality of life. I recently earned my Associate Degree in Health and Human Services and I'm working on my Bachelor program for Psychology with an emphasis on mental health.

I am a hard worker and enjoy being around senior adults. Easy to get along with and very patient and understanding. I am caring and kind.

I am a 50 year old that's very caring and a Christian woman that wants to help in any way I can with the elderly and with their needs. I've always been drawn to older people, even in my younger years. I felt like my calling was to be doing something in the caregiving field rather than working in a manufacturing place so I quit my high paying job to fulfill what I believe is a God calling for others. I have helped several elderly people, anywhere from them having dementia,Parkinson's or just needing help with food preparations and getting them to and from chair to the restroom. I truly enjoy being able to visit with my client or knowing I am making a difference in their lives as well as their families lives.

My first priority and goal as a caregiver is to build a rapport with the individual that Im working with. I strive to support and assist them in any way i can so that they can be as independent as they possibly can . I have the experience and capabilities to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency type situations that sometimes involve CPR and first aid. Although my certifications are not up to date I have had CPR and first aid training/certification classes at least 5 times in the past 10 years when I worked for a former employer.

I am currently a nursing student at ESU. I am working towards my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I will then further my education to become a Certified Nurse Midwife. I have worked in memory care for almost a year and it's taught me the compassion that my residents experience. I enjoy being a caregiver because it's rewarding to me. I love to be able to help people because it's my way of giving back to others. My ability to build relationships with my residents makes me stand out as a caregiver. I am also very thoughtful; everything is done with care and to the best of my ability. I always ensure safety, comfort, and happiness are priorities for those I care for. My experience in memory care also gives me expertise in those suffering with Dementia or Parkinson's.

I started late in life, but I have over 15 years of customer service with me. I love talking and meeting new people. I have always loved to help people to the best of my abilities. Which is why I chose this field. My own personal achievement is the fact that I have a knack for making almost anyone smile. It is a goal everyday to spread kindness.

I am a very compassionate and caring person. I enjoy listening and interacting with people. Hearing stories of people's history really is one of my favorite part of being a caregiver. I started helping to care for my two adult nieces in 2015. They were fully disabled. It was very rewarding and their laughter and loving personalities made my days complete. From there I incorporated caring for disabled seniors and found their companionship enriched my life every day as I cared for them. Prior to being a Home Health Aide, I worked for eye surgeons for twenty years. It was a very fast paced practice and I enjoyed the challenge. However, my favorite part of the job was interacting with patients and with electronic charts and other changes, the personal contact with patients was rushed and I felt they needed more compassion and reassurance in most situations. I am so happy I've made this change of careers in my life. I feel like I'm just going to visit a friend every day and enjoy the history and wisdom they share with me.

I have been in mental health and child welfare for 7 years. I also have experience with taking care of elderly patients in their homes assisting my grandma who did this for a living. All my life I have been helping people and it's my passion. I love helping others and also encouraging and assisting them to be as independent as possible. I am patient and self-motivated which leads me to be a great care taker. I would love to help you or your family member in need.

I have a very big heart and I'm a very good listener. I have several years of experience working with muscle and bone disorders and some experience with alzheimers. It's always been a goal of mine to help others that can't always help themselves. I'd say my biggest achievement is ongoing and it's the fact that I have the want and desire to help others. Not everyone these days have that desire.
