Hello my name is Jessica May I am 48 years old and I am married and have been for 31 years and I have lived in Morehead Ky my whole life. I have been doing senior care/Adults with Disabilities for around 20 years. I took care of my grandmother for 5 years she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. I took care of my dad for 3 yrs he had lung cancer. I have worked at Rescare for 12 years. I love working with seniors and people of all ages with disabilities and that's what I plan to do for the rest of my life because I enjoy learning and helping people cope with any trouble that they may be having or just trying to cope with daily living.

I am a fun loving mother of 3. I do with those who may need someone in their live to help with daily needs. My grandmother raised me, and still to this days flies from California to see my children. I love being a caregiver because I enjoy working with the elderly and children of different ages. First off my name is Cherie, I have been doing this for 15 years. I enjoy helping others, I have a good personality I can get along with anyone. I have lots of experience, I've cared for Elderly, and MR clients, to youth kids at Golden Girls. I've also worked with kids at the Emergency shelter in Milton WV. I have raised 2 girls one is 19 the other is 17. I've been a single mom since 2007. When I'm caring for someone I look at them like a family member. How I would want my family taken care of that sort of thing. But really I love doing this kind of work I'm excited about working with the company

In the business I currently am in, seeing the excitement of the faces of so many when they accomplish something they never thought they could due to support I was able to offer. And seeing them light up when I come in the room cause there's something they want to share with me about their day or the plans they have made.

I became a care giver years ago and I love my job. I have respect and compassion for elderly people and I like to make there days or nights better by talking to them and encouraging them, and helping them all I can. I have met some very wonderful people doing this job and it's an honor for me to help others.

I'm very positive and understanding. Always willing to listen and help as much as possible. I always wanted to be in the nursing field and have loved it ever since! The great people and patients I've met along the way. Taking care of people is my favorite thing. I just bought my first home on my own and I just had a baby, providing for my daughter by myself has been a challenge but it's what I'm most proud of.
