I am a happy person with a great spirit, very patient. I was excited to become a caregiver after helping a family member suffering with liver disease from beginning to post transplant.

I have been a caregiver 40 years. Always had a good repore with elderly growing up. Being there to help a loved one played a major roll in my job. I've worked in Assisted living facilities, Nursing homes and absolutely love it. I've used machinery like hoyer lifts, and other things. I'd prefer to stay away from that and heavy lifting. I also had my own assisted living years ago in upstate Ny.. I'm very experienced and I make it my buisness to be punctual and dependable. I take pride in my skills and I do my very best at all times. Looking primarily for day shift or overnight.

Hello, My name is Margaret. I laugh alot and I take my Clients very seriously. I am one person who love her work. I provide care to my recipients as I would love to be served, uncompromised care. My Clients means alot to me because I understand that I feed my family from what they pay me. Therefore, I sherish them and treat them with due respect. I have a background where I took care of my Grandfather for two good years, when he fell and became hemipledgic. I have loved taking care of Seniors ever since. 1993. In 2004, I did my CNA, and I have worked as a caregiver ever since. I have seen Seniors go through geriatric challenges and I have been a very close person to them, until when they leave this word. I have learnt to love and to provide care and support that they deserve until their last day. I am not bragging, but I have been a good friend to anyone who fell in my hands as a recipient. I've always been the compassionate person caring for other even when I was teenager. Come up watching my mother and grandmother as nurses and childcare provider it became natural to me. So when started high school I enroll in Nurseing program pass with excellent grades during I class hours we went to nursing home for hand on experience I then new this was what I liked doing. During summer break of school I work at local nursing home facility also had to attend monthly educational inservices were I learn the RESIDENTS RIGHTS,HIPPA, BIOHAZARD POLICY and INFECTION CONTROL .

I am a caregiver who likes to demonstrate empathy and compassion for senior. Supporting the patient's family members, who may be struggling to cope with their loved one's decline. I feel the desire to want to help as a caregiver will, I'll let the family and the patient know that I care about them. For instance, I will try to do what i can to help not because I have to, but because i want to, putting a smile on my patients face every is my goal making happy and feel loved .

I have always longed to help out people since childhood especially the elderly. Just reminding myself that they were once able to do everything by themselves ,drives me to wholeheartedly help them out in their activities of daily living. I want to see them live a better life than I found them . Always living a smile on their faces , bringing back hope of living in their hearts. My personality of being loving, caring , passionate and servanthood spirit are the driving forces which led me to this profession. One of my personal achievements is the fact that I have been able as a CNA to professionally and successfully work in an Assisted living facility on patients with dementia, alzeimers, combative behaviors etc.

What makes me a great caregiver is the opportunity to take care of some great people who need help and appreciate good help. I enjoy talking to people and listening to stories that so many elders have. I am very compassionate and do not frazzle easily. I have extensive experience with dementia patients. I recently became a certified Death Doula, specializing in personal care for dying patients. A personal achievement I am most proud of is raising my three children with my husband of 37 years. They (children) have grown to become great adults and that's all a parent can ask for.
