I am a very loving and caring person I love taking care of the elderly. I been a nursing assistant since I was 18 yrs old never wanted to really do anything else but take care of people. I like getting to no them about there families. I like to make them smile comfort them the best I no how. When I go home at the end of the day I no I have done a good job and every job I have work everyone love how I work and how I communicate with the residents.

I feel what makes me a great caregiver are a few reasons: I'm experienced in this field, I'm patient and I know what to expect and how to handle whatever occurs from the job. I became a caregiver because it was similar to the very first job I had, which was a patient attendant at U of M Hospital, that was a rewarding job that I enjoyed, and ever since then I've been in this field most of my time working. I like being a caregiver because I like helping people, and the job is very rewarding despite things that may occur on the job. I have my CNA diploma.

I believe what helps me be a great caregiver is that I treat each person as if they were apart of my own family, I have a very warm and welcoming heart. I've always had a joy for caring for others, doing for others is part of being a good person. I enjoy the happiness that I am able to bring to someone's life.

My passion has always been taking care of the Elderly. I love them as if their were my own grandparents. I always treat them with love and respect. I also give them my trust and honesty and make them feel comfortable; I will do whatever I can to continue to treat them with the upmost respect.

I have always loved helping and taking care of people as a child. I realized it was a talent I had when I grew up and I have loved it ! I enjoy putting smiles on people's faces from the help I give them. As a caregiver, I've learned to love and beloved by my patients. They teach me new things each day. I enjoy working with people. I treat people with the respect and love they deserve. For my graduate degree I majored in Social Work and Gerontology because I wanted to learn how to serve people better.. In order to paid for my education I worked as a care giver. I loved caring for people and learned so much from the monthly training conducted by professionals in the health care field. When I did my first internships at a center for seniors. I had such a great time working with members of the elderly population that I decided to continue working in that area. I mostly enjoy caring for others, giving back to those who served others in many ways during their younger years or when they were physically capable to do so. Its my way of giving back to the community. I get a great sense of satisfaction when I help someone recover, achieve the best in live possible with the physical and/or mental limitations they gave. And from hearing how thankful the patients and relatives are for the level of service I have provided.

I am fully vaccinated, and have my booster. I haven't been able to submit an image of my vaccination card to the site, but if you are interested in hiring me, I can send the image through communications (texts, email, etc.). I like to make my patients laugh, regardless of what the task is, whether I am helping them clean up an accident, or helping them get dressed, it can be a fun experience for both of us. I have received personal letters saying thank you for being so kind and patiently caring, from families and patients themselves. I am skilled at what I do. I do things thoroughly. I am stronger than I look, I can easily transfer people larger and taller than me. I know when to lower someone to the ground during transfers to prevent them from falling and hurting themselves. I know how to determine normal vital signs, and blood sugar levels. I have worked in nursing facilities, and respond well in emergency situations. I do have a cat allergy.
