What makes me a great caregiver is how I treat people with the respect and love they deserve. What attracted me to being a caregiver is my mom, i watched other people take care of her so I wanted to give the same love back to others who are in need. Hello I'm Chelsae I started my caregiver career 4 years ago for my grandmother with Brain cancer , I hired in and worked side by side everyday with the caregivers from Care Linx. I have experience with lifting the patient with a gate belt and Hoyer lift. I have work with physical therapy , small fine motors with clay and play dough . And sight seeing with puzzles and matching games . I have been told by previous clients that I am a great cook ! I can also help assist with in-continents, and can provide a professional and efficient environment for this uncomfortable situation. I also have experience with catheters , cleaning and bag changes as well as a Pure-wick. I am very tidy and organized. I am also very friendly and love to take"field trips" ! I have always loved helping and taking care of people as a child. I realized it was a talent I had when I grew up and I have loved it ! I believe what helps me be a great caregiver is that I treat each person as if they were apart of my own family, I have a very warm and welcoming heart. I am a very loving and caring person I love taking care of the elderly. I been a nursing assistant since I was 18 yrs old never wanted to really do anything else but take care of people. I like getting to no them about there families. I like to make them smile comfort them the best I no how.
