I started taking care of my grandmother at the young age of 8, from then on I decided to be a caregiver because it is a rewarding experience to see the smile on any elderly face. I am very dependable, trustworthy, and put in 110% in care-giving. Personal achievement are getting my certification in home health aide and nursing assistant, my next achievement is going to school to receive my nursing degree.

I'm very observant, a people's person who doesn't meet a stranger , strive to give my best to my residents . Caregiving has always been my call on earth .I have done caregiving on and off for 10 years. I love the feeling to know the elderly is taking care of, being helpful to them when they are unable.

The main reason I became a CNA to help my grandmother. Being raised by my grandmother, I want to do anything I could to help her as she has done for me until her passing. Since her death in 1977, I use my skills and experience helping other seniors. What I enjoy most about caring for seniors is knowing I have made a different in their lives. When I provide care to my clients, I'm providing care to myself, a very good friend, my grandmother, my mother, my grand father, because my clients are a part of my family. My greatest achievement in caring for my clients is when I can give them something that the doctor or medication cannot give and that's a sense that life doesn't have to be over. For example I have bought home clients from the hospital who was given two weeks to live, after caring for them they out live the two weeks by months and one lived almost a year longer than what the doctor had given. She was able to travel twice to her home state (from California to Ohio), driving herself to church, going out to lunch and dinner with friends. Those were the things she enjoyed doing before she became ill. Something about me, I received my C N A in high school (1976), I have three children two boys and one girl (decease). I also attended two colleges Long Beach City College in Long Beach, CA and Columbia MO online course. My major is Human Services. I'm currently working for a Home Care Agency who only take care of veterans.

I'm 54 years old and have absolutely loved my time working in the healthcare field. I look at my clients as family. Having both parents in nursing facilities and wanting the very best for them is the way that I conduct myself. Someone is entrusting me with their loved one

I have a passion for caring for people and helping them keep their confidence, integrity, and independence. He has graduated high school and lives independently with little assistance. I am most proud of this achievement.

Good Day, My name is Crystal and I'm 46 yrs old. Before my father and grandmother passed 11 years ago I helped take care of both my father and grandmother. My father had a liver and kidney disease while my grandmother had dementia and CPOD. Taking care of both my father and grandmother was a blessing. I enjoy been able to make someone happy, feel loved and that they are cared for when they need it the most. Been able to care for your love ones so you have a peace of mind they are getting their everyday needs met in their home.

I have 6 years' experience in homecare. I love what I do. This is my calling which now is my passion. My patients appreciate the care I provide, and I give them the companionship they need.
