I've had a passion for personal care since I was 15 years old. I lived in Bolivia and volunteered at a convent where the nuns picked up abandoned and homeless elderly and took them to a beautiful nursing home to care for them. There a nurse who knew I loved medicine, took me under her wings and trained me as a CNA. I became a PA in the 1990, but I got a job as a care giver during the time I was home schooling my kids to works night on the side besides my PA work. I love the elderly. I also was blessed to be able to care for my mother who had terminal cancer and finally passed after 3 years. Last year I had the opportunity to work in my field in a Nursing Home and loved every minute of it. I have an Aromatherapy certificate and I am certified to do Aromatherapy light massage.

I'm a great caregiver because I'm honest dependable and trustworthy. I love helping others and seeing them make progress. I'm a patient dedicated individual. I chose to become a caregiver because I started helping my grandmother and grandfather at a young age. Then when my grandparents passed away I realize that this type of work was something I have a passion for that I want to continue to do throughout my life . My goal is to help others and see the positive outcomes, in their life.

I become a caregiver cause I have passion in caring for our elders. I took care of my grandmother till she passed away. I cared for a femal client for 4yrs till she passed away in 4/3/2015 . I am a great caregiver because I have naturally been one most of my life. I became a caregiver because when I was in high school I began caring for my aunt who was disabled by assisting her with personal and medical needs. Then I was primary caregiver for my grandparents for the last 4 or 5years. I honestly love being a caregiver because it warms my heart to know that those who need assistance are receiving the proper care they need by an individual that will not take advantage of them. I started working for Home instead senior care two years ago and I love seeing individuals light up when I walk through the door and know that someone is there for them. I have a bachelors in social work and a Masters in Public health administration. I have a lot of experience working with people with dementia and disabilities.
