My biggest passion is caring and helping people in need. It is a very fulfilling and important part of my life. When I'm not working, I spend my leisure time kayaking, walking/hiking, reading, being creative and taking care of myself and my home. I'm blessed with strength and good health, patience and understanding, and I believe this is why former caretaking clients always asked for me. I look forward to meeting you!

I hope to bring a smile each day to every client I work with; I'm a very positive person and reliable. I have nearly 30 years experience in the healthcare field. I was working in a factory setting in my youth and really was not happy. I saw an ad for a CNA class at the Rochester Manor, so by keeping my job and taking the class at night, I was able to learn a whole new career, which has been so gratifying. The people that I have been able to meet over the years are truly inspiring, and they all have a story to tell, and I enjoy lending an ear.

I strive at caregiving because I am personal with my clients, making my service about them and their needs. I am always looking for ways to improve their lives!

My name is Chelsea. I have worked in nursing homes/ primary care for 10 years. I find myself a very caring, compassionate, patient and understanding person. I try to find the good in every situation. In the last year I took a break from healthcare and took a position in childcare. Somewhat the same as care giving but on the other end of the spectrum. I enjoy creating relationships with my patients and giving them the care they deserve. While working in elderly care I found a majority of the staff was there for the paycheck, I can't say that for myself. I felt important as I became closer with my residents as they felt the comfortable with me as they couldn't with some of the staff. Caring for people makes me feel good because I am making someone feel happy and that is important at their time in life no matter what age, Having to have help is always hard and to have someone that understands , is patient and kind is key in my eyes.

I make solid relationships with clients, gaining thier trust and comfort. I enjoy encouraging them to tell me thier life stories. I love making thier lives easier and more enjoyable.

I have 30 years experience as a caregiver, companion! I like hospice care too because when we come into this world we have many people around us. I believe we should have someone there when we leave on our journey!. I have a big heart filled with love and care!

I work full-time as nursing assistant at DHMC for 12 years and 5 years as a nutrition assistant. My 2 amazing children are in the teen. I want to help out my community. I consider myself to be a great caregiver/nurse because I am kind, loving and very reliable. I also love this type of work because I find it to be very rewarding, I became a licensed practical nurse in 2017, I love caring for people.
