What makes me a great caregiver is my heart. I have always cared about the well being of others, it makes me happy knowing that I am able to help people. What I like about caregiving is meeting new people, and being able to do all I can to comfort and help. A personal achievement I am really proud of is working with someone with CP. This person was in a wheel chair for a long number of years, this person gave up long ago. I came in and got to help this person and care for them helped with motaviating this person to start exercising and then we started taking small steps, thru out my years of caregiving with this person. I was able to help get this person out of the chair and to start walking again. It made me feel so good to see smiles from my client and the family because of how I dedicated myself to her, I was able to give hope and was able to see my client do somethings on their own. It is definitely a highlight to caregiving.

I am kind . I have worked with alot of different types of personalities thru out the years . I can adjust to fit all. I am loving for I was raised by grandparents and they to me are our biggest treasures. I love doing what I do been doing it 19 years. I always treat my clients with the same empathy respect and kindness as my own. And appreciate families that choose to continue to take care for there family members. I am a State tested nursing assistant I have experience and dementia Parkinson's long-term step down rehab bed bound wheelchair-bound and nonverbal individuals I first became an STNA for a personal reason a family member became sick so I took the class is necessary to bring him home and take care of him myself from there my love of taking care of others became very strong so I continue I enjoy my job because I love making someone feel special I love giving families the feeling of someone is caring for their loved one someone is being there when they can't that's the feeling I wanted for my family member
