I became a caregiver at a young age by request but as I got older it was done by choice. Caring for the elderly gives me satisfaction knowing that I can help people in a personal way. Several seniors I have cared for were not excited at all about having someone to come in to sit and to care for them but it took a short while for them to look forward to my arrival and they hated to see me leave.
