I've been a caregiver for over 15 years,I love being a caregiver,just enjoy taking care of others.I've been a certified nursing assistant since 2004.I've worked in hospitals,group homes,nursing homes,private care homes,with elderly and special needs patients.

1. What are your personality traits or expertise that help you be a great caregiver? I'm naturally patient, empathetic, and dependable--traits that have helped me build trust with both clients and families. My years of experience have also sharpened my ability to recognize subtle changes in behavior or health, especially in memory care. I stay calm under pressure, and I always try to bring comfort and dignity to those I care for. ------ 2. What attracted you to being a caregiver? I've always had a heart for helping people, especially those who need extra support. What drew me into caregiving was the opportunity to make a real difference in someone's daily life--whether that's helping them stay independent or simply being a source of kindness and conversation. It felt like a calling, not just a job. ------ 3. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? The relationships. I enjoy getting to know each client and their unique personality, history, and preferences. Being able to brighten someone's day, even with something small like a meal they enjoy or a shared laugh, brings me a deep sense of purpose. ------ 4. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? I'm proud of becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant and maintaining a 10-year career in caregiving. It hasn't always been easy, but I've stayed committed because I love what I do. I've also helped clients recover from surgery, regain mobility, and remain in their homes longer--and those are accomplishments I hold close to my heart.

I have been a caregiver for over 20 years and I enjoy helping others. I am certified in CPR, first aid, HHA, CNA. I have found that the greatest achievement is just seeing a smile on their face and listening to the stories of wisdom. I have 2 sons 24 and 22, and I have a one year old granddaughter.

I am a very understanding and patient person and I love getting to help people. When I am able to care for the loved ones of others, I do my best to treat them the way I would want one of my loved ones to be treated. My favorite part of being a caregiver is just being able to sit down with my patient and having a conversation with them to get to know them. I always have an open ear to whatever they may be telling me and I almost always have a happy smile on my face.
