Hello I have been a caregiver on and off since 2010 and have been doing it consistently the last 4-5 years. I absolutely love being able to help anyone. It's my passion and I absolutely love doing what I do. I have children and I love being there for them and helping them along the way and I feel that helps me do my job better and with love. We moved from California in 2021 and we love it here in NWA. I can't wait to learn more about NWA and the families I'll be able to help.

My experience is both personal and professional. I have a Masters in Healthcare Administration, I was a Quality Director for a rural clinic, a first responder at a local Volunteer Fire Department, and I cared for my Mother and Brother with neurological disorders for more than six years. For me creating a safe and engaging environment was crucial to improve their respective living environments. Additionally, knowing the healthcare system, and being an advocate for their healthcare needs was critical to minimize confusion and improve their overall care. As a versed mechanic and handyman, I made their living environments safe with hold bars and special care devices, minimizing fall hazards. Additionally, traveling out of the house is essential in maintaining a level of freedom from confinement, and we would go out regularly to do errands, go to DR. appointments and do external activities. Cooking was a favorite for both, as I would cook their favorites usually in large quantities, so they had packaged meals that they could pop in the microwave. As I approach my early 60s, I have been very fortunate and desire to continue helping and caring for others. Helping to organize and manage small elements can make the difference in just getting along or feeling like a valued member of society.

I have been doing in home senior care for 2+ years. With a local company. I care for my Mother on all post-op situations. I also give her support care weekly. I have just completed the AR CNA course testing out at: 100%+5 written, and 99% clinical. I will test with the state soon. I am out going.l, Self- motivated, and am a stickler for the rules and proceedires. I am most proud of my ability to connect with and advocate for residents/clients.

I been a CNA for 5 years I have worked in a bunch skilled and none skilled nursing homes. Well I love to help people and my grandma was in and out of nursing homes. So I got to go and I wanted to make a difference in there life's. I enjoy putting a smile on there face just because they in a nursing home don't mean they can't live a little and have fun . Personal achievement well got my CNA license did a whole year of it and I past with straight A's and been a CNA for 5 years . Make there day the best tha I can and being able to make my kids proud of me is the best thing ever

Caregiving is just in my nature. I moved from Colorado to Arkansas to care for my cousin who was in desperate need of care. I went to the Schmieding Center in Springdale for training, which is supposed to be the best school in the country at one point in time. That schooling made me much better at caring for the needs of others. I love to feel genuinely appreciated. Nothing gives me greater self-worth than knowing I'm helping someone who needs it. I'm always very happy when others notice and compliment me on the work I do!

As a motivated medical professional with 2 years of hands-on experience providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients with my CNA and CPR licence. I have worked extensively with patients, providing and documenting all personal care and rehabilitation services such as feeding, bathing, and mobility assistance. In addition to my experience and formal training, I dedicate myself to providing exceptional bedside manner.

I have been a caregiver most of my life. I started my career as a CNA and eventually became an LPN. I took an early retirement from nursing in 2015 to help raise my grandsons but have continued in the home care field. I think what makes me a good caregiver is the good comments from the family about myself and that is a complement about my job, I became a caregiver because is a job the have so much rewarding! I like to be a caregiver because you make good friends and treat your patient as they were part of your family, is little challenging at times! I became interested in healthcare in Junior high. At 16 I obtained my CNA license and started taking college level nursing classes in highschool while maintaining a full time job as a CNA. I have 10 plus years experience in in home health, rehab facilities and hospitals. I have a true passion for my work and like to think that the work I do can help someone elses life become just a little bit easier.
