I have been working in health care since a young age, starting off being a health care aide for my blind grandmother at the tender age of 8 years old. From there on I found my passion in life. During my years as working as a personal care aide, I had the opportunity to take care of my parents during their last days. In doing so, I was able to gain a personal insight on the importance of having the right person taking care of your loved ones, which gave me an even greater passion for the work I do. I am 52 years old. I have been in doing house keeping/ caregiving for 30 years. I was with my last family for 18 years. I start doing this because I was a single mother and need to have a flexible schedule. I have never been fired or even close. I enjoy helping those in need because we have all sometime or will sometime need help. I feel that is where God had put me. In 2018 my husband retired and we moved to PA. I thought I would love the retirement life and I did enjoy the first year, traveling, Well now I am bored. I am still fairly young I am completely flexible and I have a reliable vehicle.
