I came from a family where we all worked into the medical field caring and always helping others. A few years ago my father became ill and was diagnose with stomach cancer along with having dementia. I realized being a care giver and caring for others it took a special person to do this and I realized that I had to find someone just like me to help with caring for my father until his passing. I love interacting with the residents and getting to know them on a personal level so that I can better assist them. Every resident isn't the same and I make sure I get to know each and every one of them. I'm proud of myself because I do not plan on stopping and I plan to go for my RN this year.
