I was born to a very large family,15 children to be exact,we were taught to care for one another,and when I was 13 years old,my grandmother came to live with us, because she could no longer safely care for herself and her home,,my mother,my sister and myself,done all the things you would do for an infant and cared for her until her death,I believe in doing so,I learned compassion and the skill of helping people, when the time or circumstance,comes that a person can no longer do life on there own,and I just love people,I wish more people had the heart to serve others.

I'm am an out going person. I love what I do. I am experienced in taking care of people who are bedridden, who have had a stroke and are diabetic, feeding tubs catheters. I have cared for people with cerebral palsy, Parkinson's, dementia. I can take vitals and set up med trays. I wanted to make a difference by helping people. My mother raised three children alone,pretty much.I was the oldest and cared for my two brothers,chores etc. while my mother worked.My youngest brother was born with bone dease in legs,hips,he had to have several hip replacements etc. I took care of him and a couple more family members as time went by.I just honestly think that a caregiver is who I am.I first started in 1989 in a Nursing Home worked there couple year's.Then I worked at the hospital and I have now done 6 years of private duty,homehealth .I have always been some what parcel to Elderly.
