I love working with and helping others in need. I enjoy listening to people and I'm great at multitasking. I mostly enjoy companionship being a caregiver.

I have always been passionate about making the lives of those I care for owing to my experience in clinical practice as a an LVN/LPN licensed Nurse and a volunteering work in healthcare in which I have managed the aged and elderly and built a wonderful relationship with them which has helped the outcome of daily living, much improved. Owing to this experience, its been my passion to continue on such opportunities to provide quality care for my clients to make their lives much better.

I try to aim high with making clients and family comfortable being around. I love laughing and talking. I became a caregiver because I love God's people and serving others. I enjoy my clients being happy with me and the care I give. And for me to see them comfortable around me. The personal achievement I am proud of is when I had the honor and privilege to take care of some of Houston's finest clients. And I was able to be there until the end of their life stage. God has truly been good to me . I have served as an Caregiver for 25yrs. And I love every minute of it.

I, Shonita Badillo became a caregiver because I love working with the elderly and, sick. Caregiving has always been my passion because, when I was a teenager I cared for my grandmother. I enjoy being a caregiver because, it gives me joy to see a smile on my clients face, and, also I feel I can bring a lot to their life such as understanding patience and, compassion. I feel I have achieved experience over the last 15 years. As I continue to work as a caregiver I feel more confident that I know my job and, that I can relate to my clients better. I have 15 years of experience as a certified nursing assistant. I have worked in a hospitals nursing homes and, private homes. My future plans is to futher my nursing experience. I consider myself blessed to have a connection with the elderly. When I was a 14 yrs old had the most amazing bond with the 93 year old mother of our church and I will never forget her. I personally feel responsible for the helpless ; I didn't know I needed a reason why. However, I have realized it's not for everyone. I take pride in the connection and the ability to bond with a person in need of understanding and compassion. I now consider it a gift and I am humbly grateful.

I believe our elder community are to be cherished, I take great pride in Providing care and assistance for my clients as I do my own family. I work very well with our Alzheimer's family, as it has become a very important part of my life. I maintain a ALS, CPR and a BLS License. As of 9/24/18 I have obtained my Instructors license for the American Heart Association. I am extremely dedicated when becoming your health care provider. My goal is to improve your loved ones mental and physical health, Ultimately focusing on a better quality of life, bring your loved one to a state of happiness and well being.

I really enjoy helping the patient comfortable in their own space. My grandfather and the way he was treated in a nursing home. He just wanted to be at his home. Helping my patient feel comfortable and relaxed. Letting him or her tell stories about the past,love,kids, what it was like in the old days. Being there for them when they need me most. Making them feel useful and they do matter
