I have been working in the medical field as a Certified Restorative nurse Aide for over 20 years. I enjoy taking care of those who struggle with daily life skills. I've worked with Patients who deal with alzheimer's disease, depression, psychological or mental health problems. I was trained to obtain my Psychiatric Nurse Aide certification as an employee for Vernon state hospital, also Abilene state Supported living Center. I believe that With the yrs of experience I obtain i am more than qualified to do this job.

Hello, I would like to tell you a little about myself. I have been a caregiver for over 20 years. Taking care of the elderly is very much a passion of mine and it's my happy place other than the birth my of two boys, at the given moment in time I am doing what I love and that's is helping my individual with his or her needs that have become difficult due to age and or illness. Here is a little bit about what all I have done in the past 20 years that has to do with this field. I worked with hospice, I have been a medication aid, phlebotomy in a dialysis center. Physical therapist tech III at Abilene State School. Working at the State School was something totally out of my comfort zone but was so worth every minute spent there the knowledge I soaked in really enhanced my ability working with Alzheimer's and dementia individuals. So as you have read I wear many hates. There was a time when I thought about taking it to the next level and going to nursing school but as I got older and from working nurses are very important but there is less hand on with the individual and I am all about hands on and taking care of my individual at the time. My greatest achievement are my kids they keep me grounded and focused. My attraction to this field comes from my mom. She started out as a caregiver but went back to school and became a nurse. So you see this field has been in my blood for a very long time and it's my heart it's just who I am and what I love.
