I was raised up caring for people beginning in my own family. At the nudging of my mother, I became an LVN in 1985. After the passing of my father, I neglected to keep my LVN license current but remained in the field of caring. I enjoy helping others accomplish their day as well as family members observing positive change in a homebound loved one. I have a long history in caring which include but not limited to, psych care, dementia, hearing and vision impairment, physical disabilities and so on. I take my work seriously and respect individuals for who they are as well as what they may be going through.

It all stared when I was 13 years old my grandmother had dementia. I hope take care of her during this summer, and came back every weekend to be with her.. I love a challenge. I love people. I've been doing home health care on and off for the last 10 years.

I currently work for an Home Health Agency based in Brazos county but I am available for additional jobs in Walker, Montgomery, Grimes and Brazos county. I have work and volunteer experience with people with ALS, Stroke, Dementia, Mental, Cognitive and Developmental Disabilities and am trained in transfers, strength training, ROM, ADL's, Feeding, Dressing, Bathing and am quite helpful with chores around the house. In addition I have a vehicle with current auto insurance as well as a flawless driving record. Watching my mom as a nurse care for others attracted me to become a caregiver. Just being in the presence of other people I can help is what I enjoy.
