I began my fascination with healthcare as a child. I would polish my grandmother's white nursing shoes for her in the mornings as she was getting ready for work. She worked as a CNA at a nursing home in Lexington, VA. I remember looking at her and thinking I want to be just like her when I grow up. So as an adult I received my LPN and worked 18 years in Critical Care roles as well as skilled nursing home units in Roanoke and Martinsville to honor her memory. I've spent most of my life taking care of people because that is my passion and what I'm most proud of.

She had neuropathy and was bedridden as well as being diabetic, having a colostomy bag and the onset of dementia. I absolutely adored her. She was my whole world. Unfortunately, she passed away when I was 18 years old and at that time, I knew what I was set to do here on earth and that was to take care of people. It just comes naturally to me to be honest I am a caregiver at heart.! it gives me great rewards just to see the smile on someone's face when taking amazing care of them. Alot of my clients love me because I'm very nice, funny , and get a lot of things done around the house. I genuinely care for the wellness of people I am very helpful with all daily activity's of living. Dressing , showering , meal prep , appointments , medication reminding , cleaning , providing conversation and company. I have two great clients at this time but I am moving from New York to Roanoke Virginia June 8 and will be providing care for new clients . Hopefully I will find a place that feels right at home with a client who is very nice, preferably with friendly involved family members who check up and are present when needed.
