My name is Cathy, and I am a dedicated, mature and responsible caregiver. I graduated from the Home Health Aide program at Ashworth College with a 3.91 GPA. I initially trained to be a Home Health Aide to be able to better assist an elderly neighbor. I quickly realized how rewarding it is to help others, and through CareLinx, I have been able to take additional courses that allow me to better assist seniors in their homes. I am available for medication reminders, light housekeeping, meal prep, bathing, mobility assistance, and various other duties as needed. I have outstanding customer service skills. I love working with people at any level. In order to connect with people I feel one should have patience, tolerance, empathy and compassion. What attracted me to be a caregiver was when I had the experience to be a caregiver to my dad. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is you form a bond with the patient, they become part of your family. I enjoy working with and helping people. I am currently a CNA and MED TECH. I am certified to help with medication management. I been a CNA for over 10 years and a Med Tech for 5 years. I am registered in North carolina and Virginia. I enjoy the bonding and getting to know my clients and their families and helping them with their needs.
