I got started in healthcare at 15 years old. I started by taking care of my mom, as she had mini strokes & had to go to therapy. I would go to therapy with my mom & then help her with therapy at home, then I helped my dad get his stuff ready to go to work every morning. After my daddy left for work I'd take a nap just before going to school. I enjoy being around elderly people, having conversations, helping them with daily tasks & being a companion to them. I've been to school to be a CNA, a Certified Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Tech, Emergency Medical Technician & hopefuly one day finish achieving my RN degree. I'm also a mom of four grown children & I have nine grandbabies. I enjoy taking care of people of all ages. I specialize in caring for people with disabilities & Alzheimers/Dementia disease. I was a CNA for 20 plus years, worked in hospital, private home, hospice and dementia and palliative care.

In my short life, I've taken care of my elderly grandmother which was a wonderful thing because I got to spend time with her. I think that's what attracted me to wanting to be a caregiver is seeing the face of someone that doesn't get company then finally they do.

I am a passionate, hard working CNA. I have been working as a CNA/caregiver for the past 7 years, I love doing what I do, and making sure my job is done to the best of my ability. Making sure my client is took care of well is my number goal in the home. In my spare time I enjoy doing different things, such as hair, painting, polishing my toenails, yard work, cleaning, and listening to music. I promise to provide the best possible care there is.
