My entire life, people have been drawn to my light, loving energy, compassion and sense of humor. Most often I have heard that my presence speaks volumes, I'm a ray of sunshine and an earth angel. I feel our elders are a treasure and should receive the help and support they deserve. After decades working in a corporate setting I decided to leave and pursue a more heart-centered career. I had been drawn for years to the idea of working with elders and those in hospice and once I started training I knew I had found my life purpose. Regardless of age, I enjoy being a caregiver! I love knowing that I make a difference in peoples lives through my work, volunteering and my 'being of service' way of being. I have many personal achievements that I'm proud of, but the one that touches my heart the most is that I allowed myself the gift of time and self-reflection to step into my life purpose, being of service in elder care, end of life care and other related areas that bring together all of my education, gifts and life experiences. I have a passion for helping others. I have worked in the medical feild since 2005. I have a full time job now just looking for some extra spend cash. I have one daughter who is 13 and my pride and joy.

I became a caregiver to my sister in Los Angeles, CA, who had cancer in 2015. After she passed away, I knew that this was my calling. I was told by the staff at Cedar Saini that they appreciated my help while I was there looking after my sister. The staff acknowledged my patience and compassion towards other patients also. I earned my CNA and worked in a nursing home as well as providing in home care for others who were like my sister. My life changed, as I knew there was no better way for me to contribute to others by helping them daily. I enjoyed their company and looked forward to making a difference!
